UK Met Office Warned of 41% Decrease In Brazilian Rainfall
The projected decreases in rainfall may be as a result of warmer waters in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans causing changes in wind patterns and the transport of moisture across South America. This could lead to major economic impacts in Brazil: more than 70% of Brazil’s energy is derived from hydroelectric sources, so reduced rainfall may limit electricity supplies, affecting the industrial activities in the economically most important regions of Brazil
They got that pegged – only backwards.

Huhne Headed To Jail? Apparently He Wants To Take The Country Down With Him
Chris Huhne faces police investigation over allegations wife Vicky Pryce agreed to take speeding points. Essex police have assigned an officer to investigate the claims that would almost certainly result in the end of Mr Huhne’s ministerial career and a jail sentence if proven.
Earlier today Huhne announced a plan to cripple the UK economy by forcing everyone to use very unreliable, expensive and frequently non-existent energy sources.

Hadley …. Must Not Use Brain …..
Over Amazonia, projections are for large percentage decreases in rainfall and increases in air temperatures, with the changes becoming more pronounced after 2040. For temperature (Fig. 13 d-f) the projected warming in the tropical regions varies from 1-2 °C in 2010-40 to 6-8 °C by 2071-2100, with increases being largest in the Amazon region.
Satellites show that there has been no warming in the tropics for at least 30 years, and global warming theory doesn’t expect there to be much warming in the tropics. Radiative transfer models show that CO2 is responsible for only about 1% of the greenhouse effect in the tropics, and additional CO2 adds very little.

Heavy Snow Is Associated With Cold
One of the big global warming lies for 2011 is that the heavy snow of recent years is due to unusual warmth. In fact, it is exactly the opposite.
The animation below cycles between 2011 temperature anomalies, snowpack percentage of average, and a combination of the two. It is abundantly clear that excess snowpack is associated with cold weather, and snowpack deficiency is associated with warm weather.
