The Weather Channel claims the Arctic was near record warm in 2019.

The Danish Meteorological Institute shows that winter temperatures near the North Pole were 5-10C cooler than 2016, and that summer temperatures were below the 1968-2002 mean.

The climate fear mongering being pushed by the press in Australia is off scale.  Latest being that the five day Boxing Day cricket test match (Australia’s biggest sporting event according to MP Craig Kelley) is going to get too hot.

I plotted all December 26-30 temperatures at all long-term rural and urban GHCN (Global Historical Climatology Network) sites in Australia, going back to the 19th century. Most show cooling, and none show any significant warming.
