He is chewing on his Peyote buttons again!

  2. peterhodges says:

    his hallucinations sound so ‘scientific’

i wonder if old joe will notice most of his traffic is coming from here.

    hahahaha. muahahahahaha.

  3. Mohatdebos says:

Meanwhile, in the real world, “Snow Spreads in Europe, Disrupting Germany, U.K. Air Services”. I guess they are prohibited from looking outside from their windows. The true believers do not want reality to intervene.

  4. Les Johnson says:

Joe is kinda funny that way. He predicts a 4 deg rise in 50 years, but would only bet Thomas Fuller (and myself, as I split the bet with Thomas) on a 0.15 deg rise in the next 10 years.

Which means that he expects a rise of nearly 1 deg per decade after 2020.

  5. John Edmondson says:

    We have seen this before:-

    http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/08/16/is-hansens-recent-temperature-data-consistent/

    Jim Hansen’s prediction has failed.

Joe Romm’s prediction will also fail.

Both predictions have failed because the climate models don’t work.

This is much more likely (in my opinion):-

Although Dr.Akasofu assumes no large changes in solar output, which given the current situation looks unlikely.

  6. Fernando (in Brazil) says:

    Dear Steven,

I admit the danger of an automatic translation.

    I look at certain blogs.

A certain mania for writing in English impeccably.

I think that Latin or Greek.

It is the correct way to write the climate blogosphere.

My real surprise after a few years devoted to research in climatology.

I can demonstrate some academic titles.

    After three exhausting years.

    Not notice anything different.

    I can say that.

Any reconstruction or effective measures of temperature.

It’s like dealing with all the random data (honest or dishonest).

    My biggest surprise.

    Steven likes football.

    Barcelona X Real Madrid

    Major heavy defeats Barcelona

At Camp Nou, 5-0 in the season 1934/1935
At Camp Nou, 5-0 in the season 1944/1945
In Santiago Bernabeu: 8-1 1947/1948 season
At Camp Nou, 7-2 in the season 1950/1951
At Camp Nou, 5-0 in the season 1993/1994
In Santiago Bernabeu: 6-2 2008/2009 season
At Camp Nou, 5-0 in the season 2010/2011

    I will manipulate the data.

Clearly, the first massacre was in 1934. (Warmest)

Clearly the last massacre was in 2010 (warmest)

    Now, making the adjustment.

    and smoothing.

    I see a cycle of 60 years.

    Completion: 1934 + 60 = 1994.

    Again. 5×0 in 1994

Of course, I apologize to all readers of this fantastic blog.

    By drivel written above.

Here in Brazil we are manipulating the data to be a big emitter of CO2 (perhaps the fifth in this sport in the world). The ratio of induced deforestation and burning.

Is something burning, it is customary endemic.

Simple and easy to be solved (technically, we are selling it difficult to buy facilities).

  7. Andy Weiss says:

We have far fewer 100F days in the US corn belt than we did in the 1930s. Des Moines has not set a high temperature record in July since 1955. If this is the end of the world, why can’t past high temperature records even be approached?

In Washington, DC, the all time record high temperature for June was set in 1874, July was set in 1930, August in 1918, September in 1881 and October 1941. Where’s the beef?

  8. R. de Haan says:

This is the typical type of climate propaganda prepped for use by any criminal regime. It clearly underestimates the intellectual capacity the public and overestimates the intellectual capacity arrogant “scientist” who cooked up this BS (Bad Science).

Nobody is going to buy it.

  9. Andy Weiss says:

    Good point, Mr. de Haan.
