   Now I understand climate/geography as taught by tree humpers,
   The lithosphere is controlled by the weight of Ice & the Ice is controlled by the quantity of man made C02 in the atmosphere, therefor man releases Co2 the Co2 warms up the atmosphere & the Atmosphere melts the ice & when Ice is lost, the earth bounces back up again and that triggers earth quakes killing everyone. EUREKA!! I understand 1st class Bull Shit!!

   *The Antarctic Ice Sheet has a maximum depth of nearly 3 miles of ice
   *The continental granite rich crust is about 30 km – 50 km (20 mi – 30 mi) thick,
   *Below the continental granite rich crust lies the upper mantle which is X+ amount denser than the crust.
   *The continental Linear gradient density of the lithosphere is X+ amount greater density than the Linear gradient density of the continental ice sheets.

   Can 3 miles (max) of Ice sitting on 30 miles (max) of granite rich crust with a Linear density gradient of +X the deeper into earth you go?
   I think it would be like trying to move a mountain with a bowl of Ice cream or a whole planet with an ice sheet.

   But just maybe the fanatic & the tree humper are right!!

   Yea, what kind? Do they cause damage? Was that in any way similar to the one recently in Japan?

   Man, they give people degrees in journalism and they don’t even ask questions that would take about 30 seconds of thought to formulate and another 3o seconds to actually get some useful, applicable information. I am in the wrong line of work.
