Three Minutes Or Less

It took less than three minutes for me to produce this fake. It looks better than the original.

I would have thought that team Obama would have had the press on his lawyer’s plane to Hawaii to witness the collection of the Certificate of Live Birth. They should have anticipated that any form they release will be called into question.

  2. There are tools that will show what is a fake and what is not. For example by checking if faraway parts of the image correlate with each other (the two instances of “Kenya, East Africa” in your example) suspiciously more than with nearby pixels.

  3. Sean Peake says:

At least you’re using the right type face and there is a registration number

  4. Traitor in Chief says:

Early this year, I said (I think here) that team Obama had a document, and were trying to goad the GOP into making an issue of his BC so they could present the document. That’s why Abercrombie and Chris Matthews began harping on the issue everyone else had forgotten. Now the question moves to authenticity and coherence with other records (which are all still hidden). It remains a valid query why it took 2 1/2 years and Millions in legal fees for this document to show up. Claiming the issue was “a Nuisance” as Barry has, is disingenuine given what he’s spent to hide it.

25 years ago, Mark Hoffman was blown out of his car by an explosive device of his own creation, in Salt Lake City. Mark was a rare documents dealer who it was later revealed, had been creating fabulous fake “historical” documents. His documents all had an embarassing feature that would pressure the Mormon Church into purchasing the document to get it out of the public eye (such as “The Salamander Letter”) These fakes had specially prepared paper and inks that would pass typical forensic scrutiny. Mark began blowing up people who questioned their authenticity, and somehow tripped the Mercury trigger in his last bomb in his car near the Mormon Temple.

Fakes are commonplace, and I’ve wondered why O sputternik had waited so long to produce a document. He didn’t need an original. Unless the serial number or attending physician was the stumbling point.

    • Dan says:

He hasn’t spent anything to hide it. And the mentally ill cling to their conspiracies.

      • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

More mocking to intimidate, hey Dan? Did you notice yet it’s not working.

And BTW, why spend time with crazy people. I’m guessing it’s because you are not 100% certain yourself and you’re sticking around for damage control, or things of that nature.

“On a totally unrelated topic, Hi James,

Sorry it’s taken a while but I have now updated to UAH 5.4 and RSS 3.3.
    Thanks for the heads up.

    Kind regards

    Paul”

Paul has finally updated the Woodfortrees site to include the sat stations!!!! Yea!!!!

  6. If the document presented by the POTUS today has been digitally fabricated, I am sure we will know that very shortly.

    • Digitally? He would need to produce paper for anyone to take it seriously.

    • Traitor in Chief says:

The paper can be examined for reagent solutions used in its creation. The ink on the paper as well. Note also on the fox version that the pattern of the two papers is identical, yet one was just signed and the other is purported to be 50 years old. Is the serial number in sequence with other births in the period? Does the serial number match the one presented on Obama’s website before the election? Why is the serial number blocked out on the second page of Fox’s document, and why is it in black and white? Are the serial numbers of all documents in the period misoriented like this one?

The original document, and relevant documents, should be presented. A digital copy is nothing.

  7. Traitor in Chief says:

Note the two typewritten dates along the next to last line. They were created by the same typewriter as evidenced by similarity of key impressions. But one is angled up to the right, and the other, down to the right. The document wasn’t held fixed in the typewriter carriage for the placement of these two dates.

There is a clear issue with the copy on Fox’s website. In the upper left corner, you can see that the document is photocopied from a record that curls away (and clearly has additional information that you can’t see) Yet the pattern of the paper below the last line blends perfectly into the pattern of the background of the final document signed at the bottom. One part of the image indicates two different documents, and the other indicates the same sheet of paper.

Note also the type of the serial number and the type of all other characters on the form. A professionally serialized series of documents would have been run thru a typesetter. Yet all the lines on the form and all the field designators and numbers are true and straight, but the serial number is not?

If this is a fake, it’s a pathetic fake.

    • Phil. says:

That’s because those dates aren’t typed they’re stamped on using a date stamper, which is why the alignment of the characters is the same in each date but the orientation on the form is different.

  8. Mike Davis says:

The dates at the bottom appear to be a rubber stamp and the registration number also appears to be stamped also. I looked at my Birth Certificate at it is apparent that a rubber stamp was used in Oregon in 1947 and also in 1992 when that certified copy was issued.

  9. Somebody has to draw a line on this…especially, “birthers” should declare what they would find convincing, and stick to that (ie stop being “birthers” if the evidence they asked for is shown to them). Otherwise it will be a neverending story.

Likewise for climate change, AGW believers should be able to state what would change their mind, otherwise AGW is just a modern religion (and alas, it is).

    • An image of the document has been available for what, three hours now? You think it is time to reach a conclusion?

    • Paul in Sweden says:

“A conclusion was reached by unbiased and sane minds years ago.”

Many of those same “sane minds” which you refer came to a similar conclusion when another smooth talker went on national TV and stated “I did not have sex with that woman”, and were left quite some time latter to ponder what the definition of IS is…

    • Jimbo says:

I agree with you Maurizio, Birthers have to state what would satisfy them. As you note the same applies to AGW. Warmists must state what would falsify AGW.

I am a sceptic of AGW but am not too interested in this topic. Here is food for thought: WHEN Obama starting running for president it seems inconceivable that the NSA, FBI CIA and other security agencies did not do a thorough background check on all candidates. Obama in particular as his middle name is Hussein and he once studied at an Arabic school. The FBI knows about forgeries and paper. I find that conspiracy theorists are a little like Warmists: they won’t let go of their pet belief NO MATTER WHAT THE EVIDENCE.

      Just my 2 cents worth.

  10. Ed Moran says:

By the standards in use here nothing can be proven. Point the finger say it’s a fake and all things are unsure.
We get it in England. Some one makes a statement: it may be totaly true but… the Mandy Rice Davis quote is bound to be heard “Well he would say that wouldn’t he?”

  11. MikeTheDenier says:

Check it out. The document was doctored by the WH to make it legible…HA!!

  12. Latitude says:

What a pompous dish rag we have elected for president….

    He says he was “bemused”….

    bemused?

I’m so glad we little peeons were able to entertain you your Majesty….

He can stand on his record……nada zippo zilch

    • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

      Latitude,

I think it was you that said Trump would be a good candidate for President and I differed with you. Am I remembering that right?

But now, since what he said this morning, and how he handled it, for the first time I see that Trump could possibly be a President. He didn’t back down one bit over this issue and Obama is the one that gave in. Obama lost. Trump won. And he won with flying, inspiring colors.

      • suyts says:

AAM, I don’t mean to be a wet blanket, but how many times has Trump filed for bankruptcy? I only ask this, because it goes towards his electability. He’s not electable. I like the guy, he’s smart and capable. But that describes several potential candidates that carry baggage that the MSM won’t let pass. We’d do just as well if we ran Palin.

      • suyts says:

I should add, I agree with your assessment. Trump played it very well.

      • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Jordan was cut from his High School basketball team. Lincoln failed a few times too. Ulysses S. Grant was a constant failure until the Civil War. Failures can be used to make something great. Jordan said the reason he became so great is because he failed so many times. I heard a definition of failure as: learning ways things don’t work.

I can see your point. But I am not thrilled at all with anyone on either side. The only two potential candidates I think well of are Giuliani and Bachmann.

One thing that would be on Trump’s side is that people may feel good about him because they know him. He’s been famous since the 80’s and he’s on tv all the time.He wouldn’t be an unknown like Obama was 3 years ago. I think people are so disgusted by what they have found Obama to be that they may go with the pendulum swing all the way to someone they know the best. That would be Trump. Most people have never even heard of Pawlenty. Many have heard of Romney and the others. But everyone has known of Trump for many years. There may be Democrats that would like him for that reason.

I’ve always read the comments on climate change on this blog with great interest and sympathy. Steven Goddard seemed a reasonable man, with a reasonable approach. But now – he’s a birther? One of those bat-shit crazy loons? OMG! So much for his ability to separate fact from fiction – now I ask myself what else on this site has he invented out of thin air?

      • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

        Steven,

There will be lots of people with questions. I was listening to Dennis Miller today and one of his producers contacted Corsi for an interview. Corsi told him he is formulating a statement. Now Corsi will have to protect his reputation so I think he will be examining the birth certificate very carefully. What he and other people like you are finding will likely become a second round of questions about Obama’s citizenship that America will want to know about—well, after seeing what Whoopi Goldberg thinks of the topic I can see not all of America. And we will see what Trump’s people find about the document. It all ought to be great fun!!!

    • suyts says:

I think that would go to more of a statement of your ability to separate fact from fiction rather than anyone else’. The information Steve puts out is verifiable.

In your mind, does Steve showing you software that can easily manipulate and fabricate digital documents make him a birther? Have you bothered to google gimp? I’ve got it on one of my ‘puters right now.

  14. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Uh oh, Trump has people looking into it………

    And BTW, Trump won!

  15. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

I have heard today that apparently one problem Obama has is that with his dad being from outside the United States is his mother had to be an American citizen AND at least 19 years old for him to be considered a ‘natural born citizen’. But this document says she was 18. That may be a persistent trouble spot for him.

It would be amusing if he spends his last 21 months in office occupied with doubts from the public about his birth certificate—and in the meantime Trump hounding him about every issue under the sun.

Obama acted this morning like it was all over. DOH!

    • suyts says:

at least 19 years old for him to be considered a ‘natural born citizen’. But this document says she was 18.

      Hmmm……..that’s food for thought.

  16. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

    OMG, did I laugh!
