Winter Snow Is Caused By Cold

Yesterday I showed that Northern Hemisphere snow cover has no correlation with global temperature.

However, there is a very good correlation between snow extent and cold. The plot below shows Rutgers North American snow cover vs. the UAH US temperature anomaly. Cold winters have more snow, and warm winters have less snow.

This is intuitively obvious. A cold winter brings snow further south.

Which again shows the uselessness of a “global temperature” – and how perverted the thinking of some  climate scientists has become.

    You did something wrong….

..Dr Masters says that warm winters and more snow…………blah blah blah

    😀

How’s the snow-pack on the front range coming along. This year will be about the 6th year for me out of about 20 or so to hunt around the Gunnison area and I hope this year to have some snow in the higher elevations where we used to have some. I know the planet has warmed some and I do not think man has contributed much to this but a real “yardstick ” for me is the September snow in the mountains. Last year again none and the temperature at our cabin at 9986 feet never went below 32f for the first time in my time hunting there. Cosmic rays,PDO, el nino,la nina, water vapor, earth orbit, moon orbit, ozone, earth tilt or whatever is to blame – I am ready for a change. For some reason this year I believe things are headed back to something similar to 20 years ago. My area in S. Ala. had a very cold winter that was unusual. So , my forecast is based on this for what it is worth-no real science involved kinda like the IPCC. Ha!

Wow, what a bad post. I meant no snow pack the last 5 years . Too much time at the 19th hole after golf today.

People are supposed to believe graphs? There’s a consensus among scientists. David Sukuki is crying.

    ;O)

  5. Nice work!!
