EPA Recycling The Same Global Warming Nonsense For Three Decades

http://news.google.com/newspapers

This past winter was the coldest on record in Florida. Summers in Maine have not warmed for 120 years. The EPA speaks boldly and authoritatively about things they know nothing about.

  1. Sundance says:

    In Illinois 66% of the years between 1955 and 1997 were below the 20th century temperature average. 1998 was above normal but since 1998 the Illinois T trend is a minus .56F degrees per decade. The majority of hot years happened between 1920 and 1955. We must secretly know how to prevent man made warming.

    Forgot to mention I have something in common with the EPA, I recycle garbage too.

  3. Andy Weiss says:

    Are EPA’s statements subject to peer review? Of course, but none of the peers ever bothers to look at data from the real world. They are all more than happy to regurgitate the same old nonsense in tandem with one another.

  4. NikFromNYC says:

    Maine in October, when the least amount of air conditioning or hearing caused urban heating is expected, is even more slowly, uh “warming”:

    Damn iPhone I cant speeLl on it since I can’t see what I just wrote easily without a preview button.

    hearing = heating

  6. Robert Austin says:

    But Steven, these measurements occurred in the presence of thermometers. The first law of climate science states that regional positive temperature anomalies are inversely proportional to the quantity of regional thermometric measurement. Sort of like quantum mechanics where the very act of observation alters state of the “true” temperature record.

    This past winter was the coldest on record in Florida

    If you chart from 1990 – 2011 for Florida….
    …the trend is -2.12 F
