Polar Amplification Making Antarctica Hot

http://www.wunderground.com/

One of the fundamental precepts of global warming is that the poles heat up much more than lower latitudes. Whoever would have thought that Antarctica could make it up to 105 degrees on Sunday? (Remember that everything is upside down in the southern hemisphere.)

Hansen projected this blistering heat in his 1988 paper.

Its funny how the top of that 1988 prediction looks so much like the average GISS temp map – you know the ones with the estimated Arctic temps, based on Big Jim’s models.

That “feels like -102F” cracks me up every time…..

…I have no idea what -102F feels like

You will never hear a whisper from the mainstream media about the ridiculous cold in Antarctica. The only thing you will hear is that the ice cap is crumbling and that the penguins are ready to drop dead from heat exhaustion.

Wasn’t “freedom of the press” supposed to ensure that people would learn the truth? That is apparently no longer the case. There is something very wrong going on.

  4. Phil Nizialek says:

The temperature at Vostok has increased 5F IN ONE DAY. I won’t comment on how much worse this is than I thought.

  5. Dave N says:

You should do a comparison of Hansen’s 2010’s anomaly prediction with what it actually is now.
