Top Scientists : We Weren’t Kidding When We Said Snow Is A Thing Of The Past

Why doesn’t anyone believe us any more? When we said hot and dry, obviously we meant cold and record snow. When we said lots of hurricanes, obviously we meant no hurricanes for three years.

  1. A K Haart says:

“many aspects of an ‘overly ambitious’ policy response could be reversed”

So now they know how to unspend money. Could be a winner with all kinds of potential applications. Betting for example.

  2. suyts says:

lol, beautiful and appropriate pic! I think they really, really, doubly really mean it this time!!!111 The climate is changing!!! lol

  3. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

They said moreless snow before they said lessmore snow.

  4. Jimbo says:

After over 30 years of global warming the signals aren’t there or are going in the opposite direction. More tornadoes / stronger tornadoes (Gore), hurricanes, floods, accelerating sea level rise, lack of warming for over 10 years. Couple this with the mainy failed and debunked pieces of specuation and all you have left is the ordinary weather.

    “Fluctuations in some climate parameters”
“Here we report results on those parameters of which we have had experience during the last few years: Global surface temperature, Cloud Cover and the MODIS Liquid Cloud Fraction. In no case we have found indications that fluctuations of these parameters have increased with time.”

    And another
    ————————
“Analysis of trends and of aggregated time series on climatic (30-year) scale does not indicate consistent trends worldwide. Despite common perception, in general, the detected trends are more negative (less intense floods in most recent years) than positive. Similarly, Svensson et al. (2005) and Di Baldassarre et al. (2010) did not find systematical change neither in flood increasing or decreasing numbers nor change in flood magnitudes in their analysis.”

    “The Twentieth Century Reanalysis Project”

    WSJ interview with lead author:
    “The Weather Isn’t Getting Weirder”
“Gilbert Compo, one of the researchers on the project, tells me from his office at the University of Colorado, Boulder. “So we were surprised that none of the three major indices of climate variability that we used show a trend of increased circulation going back to 1871.””

  7. Andy Weiss says:

These measures proposed by the self proclaimed “best scientists” would at the very least send the economy into the tank and at worst create shortages of heating fuel during a severe winter, causing people to freeze to death in their homes.

The risks involved in implementing their “overly ambitious” program are far worse and far more certain than a few degrees of warming.

  8. Latitude says:

You house is under water, food, gas prices are rising faster than you can keep up, your job is shaky, the government is so in debt they can’t pay their bills, they spent your social security money…………….

Under my plan, energy prices will necessarily have to skyrocket………….and I’m giving billions to Brazil so they can become energy independent and sell it to us

    FAIL

    • suyts says:

      A giant FAIL!!!!!

      • Latitude says:

        J. what’s the strangest is somehow greens are perfectly happy moving pollution to another country.

Australia is fighting right now about burning coal, but yet they sell almost all of it to China.

      • suyts says:

Yes, and I think its very telling as to their true motivations.

No one can argue that China has more stringent pollution laws than the U.S. or Australia. Nor will they. Either they’re purposefully destroying our respective economies or they’re too stupid to understand that exporting our jobs increases atmospheric CO2 and real pollution. I refuse to believe they are all really that stupid.

  9. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

These global warming scientists really have a problem since the earth has been cooling since 1998. Some may argue temperatures have been flat since then. But 13 years of flat still is NOT warming.

It is also going on 17 years soon that there has been no statistically significant warming.

    • Luke of the D says:

But Mr. Meteorites, you forget that GlobalWarmingClimateChangeClimateDisruptionEndoftheWorldSocialistAgenda causes everything (including cooling) and that data means nothing to the movement nor to the fate of the world. Believe in the models. Repent your wicked ways and join the fantastical realm of the green religion!

  10. Dave N says:

A lot of the time, it depends on which “experts” you ask. Some said more hurricanes, some said fewer, but more intense.

One common theme: they’ve been wrong. The “AGW causes everything” group is just completely ignorable.
