2.36pm: A former head of counterterrorism at the CIA has told Time that techniques such as waterboarding did produce the information that eventually led to Bin Laden’s death. The assertion by Jose Rodriguez, who ran the CIA’s counterterrorism Centre from 2002 to 2005 has been rejected by the White House.
