It is probable as accurate as some of the Met Office’s forecasts.
It seems the current crop of Chicken Littles are just regurgitating what was Defecated before.
It’s hard to justify your grant, unless you convince people that you are working on something that is very important.
Robert Revelle is the guy that Al Gore “immortalized” in his book as his mentor and professor. Revelle however made statements later that he didn’t think we needed to act precipitously in anything and that we needed more certainty in climate science, since the science of the greenhouse effect was uncertain.
Gore didn’t like that, and pressed to have Revelle’s statements attributed to old age mental infirmity. The issue ended up with a few lawsuits for libel.
I guess the motto is, if you express yourself contrary to what the “sex poodle” thinks you should say, even if you’re Gore’s hero, you still have to watch your back.
