Dangerous Heat On The Greenland Ice Sheet

The sun is nearing its peak elevation over Greenland for the summer, and things are really heating up! Temperatures are expected to reach a blistering -15F at midsummer.

    WOW! I am impressed! A tropical depression in the Pacific is set to affect Greenland.

    I like the bit that says ” tomorrow will be cooler”.

    Cooler? Surely an understatement when your nadgers would be drop off if exposed for 10 minutes!

    Meanwhile, at a place in Greenland where people actually live, it’s forecast to be 63 tomorrow and 68 on Tuesday.

      Serious Questions …

      Why do people live there instead of up in Summit where it is cooler?

      If all of Greenland was warmer would the people be better or worse off?

      Should the island be renamed to Whiteland?
