This this unprecedented extreme normality will cause problems for the “weather is variable” deniers.
I have my doubts whether the recent decrease they are showing is real.
Looking at the graph, if you take normal as being +/- 1SD, it looks like it has been ‘normal’ for a month or so in the past two years, ie 2010 and 2011 too. So wow, three normal years in a row must be, wait for it, wait for it, ‘abnormal’.
