   It was claimed that the 1999-2001 decrease was the result of aerosols; note that there has never been a correction between satellite and ground temperatures for aerosols

   The Hadley data must be taken as the more reliable average, as RSS averages would have to be reflected in insolation averages from a number of sources, and they are not
