Just think of the methane that blimp produces!
Let’s not…
SciAm: One of the most reliable UN/Globalist/climate hoax manure spreaders money can buy.
Yeah along with “New (PC) Scientist Mag.
I see on the front cover of the latest edition available here in NZ.
Climate change: It’s even worse than we thought
http://www.newscientist.com/special/worse-climate
Meanwhile the Watermelon propagandists BS Artists Greenpeace have been again accosting people at the entrance way of my local supermarket trying to get people to sign their BS petition to save the Arctic. I didn’t know someones signature had such powerful effect of the Climate. or was able to save the Arctic.
Crap science by a crap magazine. A match made in heaven.
He is the green movement’s version of the Borgia Pope.
If something is bad fore global warming, must mean that it is reduced. It’s a good thing then.
I think I’ll have a couple of more beers.
This supports my fat tax proposal, which taxes people with poor lifestyle habits. This is because under Obamacare the obese and smokers/drinkers/drug abusers pay the same health insurance premiums as healthy responsible people who eat a healthy diet, exercise, and maintain ideal body weight. It is B.S. that I have to subsidize the irresponsible and their lifestyle-driven pre-existing conditions.
There is no incentive for patients to reduce their own health care costs under Obamacare. Cutting physician reimbursement for failure to meet “performance measures” due to patient noncompliance will further reduce access to care. Somehow, Obamacare supporters think that ins coverage equals access to quality care.
Yes I agree…
* Extra taxes if you’re over weight or obese
* Also if you own pets (like cats) which have a big carbon footprint
* And you should be penalised if you have a degree such as pHd but then not contribute to society by using it in your profession. That limited place could have gone to someone who could have made practical use of it.
😉
Of course, my preference would be that patients pay health ins premiums based on their risk stratification (just like auto ins), but Obamacare eliminates that out of “fairness.”
No financial incentive to take care of oneself or be compliant with physician instructions raises health care costs for everyone.
Somehow, we need to get the obese and the smokers to pay their “fair share.” Smoking and obesity are responsible for loss of the most quality adjusted life years (QALY), and is purely a function of taking personal responsibility for one’s lifestyle choices.
Personally, I have a high deductible plan $5K and it costs me $2100/yr in 2011, going up to $2400/yr in 2012 (rates have doubled in the past 5 years thanks to Obama).
My response was tongue-in-cheek but there is something to be said for looking at government hand outs as meant for the disadvantaged. If so, then welfare should be means tested. On the other hand there is also a genetic/hereditary component to weight, so it might be rather challenging for some individuals to loose weight.
The flip-side of the argument is this: Since Fat is stored(sequestered) Calories(heat), then obesity is a responsible way to reduce your impact on the environment by becoming your own Carbon Sink!! Perhaps Algor is showing us ‘The Way.’ 😉
So Al Gore is responsible for like, what, 3%-5% of the total global warming? It’s okay Al, I added another 5% percent myself.
