“Peace In Our Time”

The British foreign secretary, William Hague, welcomed the deal as “an important step towards a lasting peace”.

He added: “The priority now must be to build on the ceasefire and to address the underlying causes of the conflict, including more open access to and from Gaza for trade as well as humanitarian assistance, and an end to the smuggling of weapons.”

Translation. Egypt is going to open up their borders so that Iran can smuggle heavy arms into Gaza, and probably start WWIII.

“After the deal was struck Obama called Netanyahu to commend him for agreeing to the Egyptian proposal and told him he would seek more money for the Iron Dome defence system that has protected Israel from rocket attacks.”

If Obama believes that this ceasefire is worth the paper it is written upon then why does he think that Israel needs more money for Iron Dome ??

WW1 and WW2 happened when USA had 2 of the most “progressive” presidents…

Didn’t both Wilson and FDR try and appease?

Cease fires are only for the aggressor to rearm! Hamas was running out of rockets

  5. I can’t understand why you folks don’t realize that the problem is solved. Hillary spent 2 hours with Netenyahu and his officials and then followed up with Abbas the next day. Peace in our time! All hail and awards for Hillary.

Joking aside, do you think things will go any better with Susan Rice or John Kerry as SoS?

I very much doubt a massively Sunni country would allow a Shi’ite one to smuggle arms through it to another Steve.
