The map above shows counties which voted for Obama in blue. It also shows where most US gun crime occurs (also in blue.)

A friend of mine from California moved to Aurora, CO in the 1980’s.
He opened his door one day to a couple who asked for help.
He was a gentle and caring soul. He let them in. They murdered him.
This incomprehensible non-human lizard behavior is only corrected by a heavy dose of lead.
I hope the next world finds you well my friend. RIP.

Like it or not, Guns are associated with conservatives. Criminals know this, so they go where the guns are not.

Watched the clip. At one time I would have been upset to be called a Canadian but now not so much. Been reading Small Dead Animals and related with the readers of that blog.

Gun control has nothing to with controlling crime or guns, it is about controlling people.

Court proceedings confirm Aurora shooter James Holmes was on prescription meds:

“The Denver Post reported Jan. 7 that, according to newly released court papers, police removed a number of prescription medication bottles – four, to be exact – from Holmes’ apartment shortly after clearing it of explosives in the days following the July 20 shootings. They also seized immunization records.

“The disclosures come in a back-and-forth between prosecutors and defense attorneys over whether those items should be subject to doctor-patient confidentiality. The judge ultimately ruled in October that prosecutors could keep the items,” the paper said, adding that the names of the medications had been redacted from court documents.”

John Noveske killed in single vehicle collision – his last face book post:

“Eric Harris age 17 (first on Zoloft then Luvox) and Dylan Klebold aged 18 (Columbine school shooting in Littleton, Colorado), killed 12 students and 1 teacher, and wounded 23 others, before killing themselves. Klebold’s medical records have never been made available to the public.

Jeff Weise, age 16, had been prescribed 60 mg/day of Prozac (three times the average starting dose for adults!) when he shot his grandfather, his grandfather’s girlfriend and many fellow students at Red Lake, Minnesota. He then shot himself. 10 dead, 12 wounded….”

The list goes on, and it is a long one…

    * Drowning in a lake or other natural water (1:2384)
    * Being struck by or striking against an object (1:4555)
    * Contact with machinery (1:5189)
    * All types of falls, including falling from furniture (1:4238)

We should outlaw walking, it is far too risky.

So far this year 32,900 American children were murdered through legal abortions, over 2000 today alone. What type of legislation would save more American children? Gun laws?

Hiya. I’m almost sure you’ve seen these numbers, but they should be re-posted everywhere:

    , et al.

Its the highly amusing fact that there is about 3.5x LESS violent crime in the USA, per capita, than gun-free UK and Wales.

Kind of says it all. Kind of ends the discussion.

  8. Andy OZ says:

In Australia 2011, there were 1286 road fatalities (incl. 34 cyclists) vs 260 gun deaths.
Aussies are 5 times as likely to be killed by a car. But we don’t ban cars…..?
