Obama put out the word today that he is arranging for green energy scamsters to be able to steal lots more money from America’s children.
The path towards sustainable energy sources will be long and sometimes difficult. But America cannot resist this transition; we must lead it. We cannot cede to other nations the technology that will power new jobs and new industries – we must claim its promise.

The Complete List of Obama’s Taxpayer-Backed Green Energy Failures
“We cannot cede to other nations the technology that will power new jobs and new industries – we must claim its promise.”
He acts like we will charge other nations for the technology, once developed. Or that other nations would not share. Doesn’t that seem odd? After all, it is about saving the children. Right?
A competent leader would allow others to waste time and money on R&D, while we invest in ourselves.
I’m all for R&D, I see a benefit to universities researching different theories to come up with improvements to society. It not only teaches students what works and what doesn’t, it trains them for future jobs.
What I don’t want is to be forced to pay for the implementation of technologies that research possibly discovers, that is the purpose of venture capitalists and other private businesses. I really hate to be forced to pay with tax dollars for implementation of technologies that are not better and cheaper than what we already have.
Money pits are not R&D. I look at it this way…

R&D also is not used to repay political friends. If you want to piss away money, do it with your own.
Is that scandals or sandals?
I think it is pronounced swindles.
