   In the United States, defendants deserve the right to a fair trail. That’s what distinguishes us from certain other countries….

   It’s funny how conservatives are so ready to abandon fundamental principles just to feed the media maw.

     Yes, it is interesting how people, like the green Nazis, are willing to abandon fundamental principles by recommending prison, and even the death penalty, for “climate deniers” in what has now been revealed to be the fairytale of AGW. I love how the left is for free speech, as long as it is THEIR speech. Motto of the left:

     Says who? Not our government. None of the following people even got to reach the status of defendant

     We’ll call Vicki Weaver a combatant, and then we can kill her on her porch. No status of defendant needed. No trial needed. Problem solved.
     We’ll knowingly expose soldiers to lethal amounts of radiation. No trial needed. Problem solved.
     We’ll knowingly cause blindness to veterans. No trial needed. Problem solved. (Tuskegee)
     When we describe Richard Jewel, we will replace “police officer” with “Olympic Park bombing suspect” (Janet Reno), and turn Richard Jewel’s life into a living hell for years.
     Ditto for Stephen Hatfill.
     Ditto for the Japanese Americans, Native Americans, African Americans.

     …and millions more who were/are denied life liberty and property without due process of law.

   Mr. Appell, what are you talking about? I can’t decide what you are actually trying to say… do you not want him to have a fair trial? Or do you? If you do, then likely you want to see the evidence, yes? Which is what Mr. Goddard was saying… we don’t have all the evidence. So what are you trying to say? Do you think he should be set free? Or maybe made Secretary of Defense? Killed by drone? Killed by cop? What? I’m confused…
