May Easter 2013 mark the beginning of the end to almost seven decades of fraudulent government science and the return of mankind to respect for his Creator, his actual role in the cosmos, and “The GOLDEN RULE.” http://tgrule.com/2013/03/29/13511/

Wait, they used to say warming caused warming? Aren’t they telling us now that that warming causes cooling? Why be silent, then, since these cold records prove global warming just like the warm records did three years ago? A compliant press will regurgitate any pronouncement without questioning any inconsistency.
Maybe they are slightly embarrassed? I hardly see why. Inconvenient results can be swept under the ocean.
People aren’t quite as dumb as they’re given credit, though. It doesn’t take a Ph.D to recognize moving the goalposts and only the most fervent believers easily swallow the line that warming makes things colder. The edifice is cracking. We are very fortunate mother nature didn’t play along and they didn’t get their draconian controls installed, else there’d be no getting rid of them. They haven’t quit trying, though.
Hide this decline!
AGW support is calving, large chunks of supporters are floating away… and hysteria is melting…
I think you’re right. That’s the good news. The bad is that Libtards will never recognize their belief system is a cult. New delusions will take the place of those discarded, but there will be no epiphany.
The other thing(s) about this cornball NCAR study is that they did not include the 30s and 40s, which blow their theory into oblivion…. and they neglect to mention (as I recall) that the “incidence” of high temps were actually declining in the last few decades. They show each decade with an equivalent sized bar, but this is intentionally deceptive. If you looked at all the available data, their conclusion was clearly wrong.
Good Point.
Out of 79 all time state records (incl ties), 37 were set in the 1930’s, and just 2 since 2000.

And analysis of daily highs in Kansas again shows most records were set in the 1930’s

Which all raises the question – why NCAR would put out such misleading information? But then we already know the answer to that!
With the latest assessment (chill is here to stay) from the good Russian scientist, Great Britain’s masses have declared April 1st to be “Pummel a Liberal Day”, as the temperature continues to plummet!
“…Millions of readings from weather stations across the country…”
And that’s another problem – every little TV and radio station, every school and university, every home user, every little airport – wherever they can find a thermometer, it adds to the list.
Ask them if they have accurate metadata on those millions of weather stations – location, siting, length of time in operation, moves and re-locations – without that, their ratio falls apart.
