Last week the Washington Post told us that we were doomed!
I guess those ‘dramatic’ pictures of dried out corn stubble are meant to excite the city folks. Out here, we simply call that a field.
The geese come here every winter from Canada to eat that.
I had snow geese in the field across the road from my property this year. They have been coming in larger numbers every year now for over a decade. I never tire of the migrations, or the changing seasons.
also…add compost back into the soil for next growing season…however, the EPA is probably trying to figure out a way to stop farmers from doing good land management…
Maybe you will have the same “Extreme Weather” that Washington DC received during its last Extreme weather! “Snowquester” or whatever name they used to describe a dusting of snow!
Have the given your storm a name yet? 😉 It can not be serious until they give it a name!
Are the ‘experts’ also singing “When you wish upon a star”?

Searching for a similar WaPo article on the 5 year long EPA-manufactured drought in California’s Central Valley with no results.
One would think it newsworthy – several hundred thousand acres of once productive farmland lie fallow. Thousands of jobs lost. US House recently debated a bill to turn pumps back on. Obama says he’ll veto it to protect Dem special interest group Natural Resources Defense Council…..er….a two-inch fish called the Delta Smelt.
