Ayn Rand Explains Obama’s Economic Plan And Core Philosophy

“When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing

– when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favours

– when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you

– when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice

– you may know that your society is doomed.”

“For centuries, the battle of morality was fought between those who claimed that your life belongs to God and those who claimed that it belongs to your neighbors – between those who preached that the good is self-sacrifice for the sake of ghosts in heaven and those who preached that the good is self-sacrifice for the sake of incompetents on earth. And no one came to say that your life belongs to you and that the good is to live it.” – Ayn Rand (Atlas Shrugged, 1957)

Interestingly enough, the human condition only encompasses 90ish configurations that really count and another 455,000ish attributes that count, but not in a big way such as freckles, zits etc…
Our abilities, emotions, thought processing, handling of life situations, etc… have not changed among the 90ish configurations over the past several 10’s of thousands of years.
When we hear history repeats itself, that is a no shitter!!!
Different millennium, same story among the left/right/center, alpha’s, followers and low IQ humankind.

“The Hidden Ark group began building a 500-foot wooden Noah’s Ark on the outskirts of Hialeah that will be both a zoo and a way to raise awareness about the current environmental changes

“It’s a religious thing because it’s Noah and God teaches us to protect animals,” said Carolina Peralta who is part of the group, hiddenark.com. “You’re using Noah’s Ark to make a statement about helping animals and conserving our planet.”

While not needed, her affirmation is understood.

  6. Laurence Clark Crossen says:

When the media, like Fox News, mention the Constitution, this does not connect with anyone not already tuned in. One needs to mention “protection from the government” to convey the continued relevance. Better yet, the continuing battle between Benthamite practices over Blackstonian protections from the government.
