It is a pity they do not remember history from last year when the largest ice breaker in the world was stuck in the ice. Maybe they forgot about the fuel delivery to Nome!
Fairy tales have a tendency to lead the children astray from reality.

      Yeah.

And the biggest thing they forget. It isn’t even Summer up there yet. So the best thing those Moronic Bozo’s can do is STFU, until it actually is Summer and then we may have a better idea on what and how things may pan out up there!

The morons think weather is Climate! Climate is what happened in regions over the last 2 million years. Weather is what we will experience from now until the day we die and weather is what our children and grandchildren will also experience. Weather is and always has been variable.

Man the canoes! We’re going to the “pole”.

  3. “…For the first time, icebreakers will be able to make a straight shot over the North Pole, and the treacherous but coveted Northwest Passage through Canada’s Arctic Archipelago will become a viable commercial route…”

Amazing. They talk about how fragile the first-year ice is, and now they want to run a fleet of icebreakers through it – making it easier to melt off, or be pushed out to warmer waters.

“The pair used computer MODELING to predict optimal navigation routes for mid-century (2040-2059) between the North Atlantic and the Bering Straight based on seven independent climate MODELS.”

    More crystal ball BS.

To bring attention go the ice free Arctic, maybe the Weather Channel can get Henry Winkler to jump a Killer Whale! 😉
