Scottish ski industry could disappear due to global warming, warns Met Office – Telegraph
There is no reason for the decline in Met Office credibility to stop.

Oxfordshire council noted recently that the Met Off forecasts are very expensive and useless. They failed to predict early morning snow last week which caused a number of accidents. The council had put sensors in the roads which warmed thzm that the temperature had dropped to freezing and the Met off had said there was rain on the way so the council sent out their gritters but by then it was a little too late.
The problem is that there is no other equivalent service in the UK. It has been so dominated by a taxpayer funded organisation that the private ones could not florish.
One more reason why I never listen to government advisors, and one more reason why governments should not be trusted with our money.
In fact, since the 70’s more ski resorts have opened in Scotland. No resorts have closed.
