One of the big Sandy lies was that global warming had overheated the ocean.
This is quite remarkable, given that the entire US coast (except for New England) has below normal sea surface temperatures.

Yeah because all the hot water has sunk to the bottom of the sea where we can’t see it. Because global warming has in effect ‘scared’ the hot water away. It’s called thermal-aquatic marine repulsion. Counter-intuitive it is, but it’s completely logical and scientific, just like the near boiling hot Arctic temperatures have meant very cold temps for the rest of us. It’s logical, as Spock would say. /s
A graph with no date or legend – how informative.
Oh look! A link that leads to a picture of the graph, with a date and legend.

Gee, March 18… now, when was Sandy again?
So you are arguing that global warming has bad in November, but has reversed itself since? ROFLMAO
Gina,
I am sorry you missed the map during the post-Sandy party, but Steven did post it at the time.
Here is an even more informative post from Bob Tisdale.

You have to understand how that Internet thing works.
Good job, Gina.
