My Global Warming Hearing Forecast

For years, alarmists have been telling us that global warming causes an early spring and declining snow cover. But with record snow and cold forecast for tomorrow’s global warming hearing in DC, alarmists will claim that they predicted it all along – because they are extortionists intent on keeping the flow of money coming in.

  1. The “Australian Climate Commissioner” – explained that his forecast for Australian dams never filling up again due to reduced rainfall caused by global warming – there have been several years now of flooding and many major dams have exceeded 100% capacity – stated he was not actually wrong because he never said it wouldn’t happen. He had qualified by using the word “may” (happen).

Pretty dumb defence, eh? But it gets worse. Sceptics dug up his actual statements on the issue of reduced rainfall and there was no qualification in many of his statements. He stated that reduced rainfall was now an inevitable fact and he was categorical in his claims.

So apparently besides being a nincompoop, he is also a liar. 🙁

      Hey Will,

What do you of Tim Flannery and the rest of the climate commission boneheads, including a few BOM staffers, hitting the airwaves so hard this week? Radio, TV, internet. Is it to distract from Julia’s impending political demise, or is something else? Then there is the numerous sock puppet arrivals here on Steve’s blog. It’s strange for me to see so much warmist activity.

I have been following that and did not see any statement by Flannery with any weasel words in them until his claim he used weasel words.

Whenever we have mild winter and spring in the UK , we are also told that spring is coming earlier, but strangely we never hear from the same people when we have a cold winter/spring.
A few years ago there was a report that our Hawthorne was flowering earlier, with actual reports of early flowering in the North of England.
When I asked for the location of an early sighting in my area, in order that I could verify it, they couldn’t actually tell me where it was within several miles, so it was impossible to check.

Thanks to information Sir Fred Hoyle published on pp, 153-154 of his autobiography [1], the roots of the 2009 Climategate scandal have been traced back to 1946, when

a.) Fred Hoyle [2] published misinformation on the Sun’s origin, composition and source of energy that became the foundation of the Standard Solar Model of stars and Big Bang cosmology, and

b.) George Orwell moved to the forsaken Scottish Island of Jura – although already dying of tuberculosis – to write “1984” and warn society about the tyrannical government that has now almost completely engulfed our planet [3].

In 1983 the Swedish Nobel Prize Committee awarded the Nobel Prize in physics and astrophysics for the Standard Solar Model of stars, stellar evolution, element synthesis and Big Bang cosmology to the late William A. Fowler and Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar [4]

Heartland should sneak in early and shut the heat off. 🙂

    • miked1947 says:

Agree! GOOD for the activists, so the realists should be able to follow suit!

    • squid2112 says:

Heartland may not have to do that. According to Weather.com, power outages are highly likely in DC tomorrow and for the next two days. There are presently warnings out for possible power outages.

It would be just too grand to have this blizzard hit right at this time and have a power loss just as things get underway. Here’s hoping…..

Formation of the United Nations on 24 Oct 1945 brought many benefits to society – reduction in the threat of nuclear annihilation, nationalism, racism, etc. – but hiding information on the source of energy (E) [1,2] stored as mass (m) in cores of

a.) Heavy atoms like Th, U, Pu
b.) Planets like Jupiter and Saturn
c.) Ordinary stars like our Sun
d.) Galaxies like the Milky Way

Prevented world leaders from being able to meet the basic needs of society.

PS – By coincidence, it looks like the snow falling here in Missouri today should blanket Washington, DC in time for the House Subcommittee hearing tomorrow on “global warming !

Thank you Steve Goddard for repeating the weasel words of some of these global warming religion cranks. Two of the worst ones are James Hansen and Bill McKibben, who continue to claim that sever cold weather is really global warming. Please keep exposing these dishonest people.
