Numbers don’t lie. Planet heating up – Ellwood City Ledger: Eric Poole
Actually, people use incorrect numbers to lie all the time. Many other people are just plain stupid.
Numbers don’t lie. Planet heating up – Ellwood City Ledger: Eric Poole
Actually, people use incorrect numbers to lie all the time. Many other people are just plain stupid.
Numbers don’t lie; they’re adjusted by people who do.
Over what period of time does he think the world is warming. 1 day? one year? 100 years? 1000 years? 10,000 years? 100,000 years? 1,000,000 Two out of seven might find a slight warming that is statistically insignificant, but the rest were most likely warmer than what we are experiencing.
Eric Poole’s checkered employment history, which includes stints at a gun range, as a steelworker and in the food service industry. Since getting his first grown-up newspaper job at the age of 30..
Of course, with a background like that, if he was taking up the sceptic side of the argument he would get howled down with:
“He’s not a climate scientist! Where’s his peer review?”
Apparently any asshole can be a qualified “climate scientist” these days.
“Stuipid” is the word you’re looking for.
🙂
Sort of reminds me of the eco worrier who came here and kept reminding everyone he only “quotes facts”. Nothing wrong with the facts he quoted. The problem was with all the surrounding facts he had edited out of his quotes.
Numbers don’t lie and guns don’t kill – the people using them do.
But liars do. Time to consider the source.
This graph says it all:
