Maybe Ernest Moniz hasn’t taken the time to look at countries where energy costs have tripled and how that has devastated the public. it is estimated that 800,000 German Homes can no longer afford the energy they need to heat their homes. Isn’t it glorious that the UK may run out of fuel in 3 weeks? I’m sure that would be great for national security.
Why don’t we beta test the Moniz concept? We can charge him and the rest of the Obama anti energy regime 3 times more for their energy and fuel use out of their own pockets while they are in office and see how they like it and to see if alters their behavior. If Obama thinks paying three times more for fuel for Air Force One out of his own pocket is a great idea, we can than have a national dialogue. Lets also triple the cost for energy at universities where brilliant ideas like tripling energy costs are born and let them demonstrate the validity of their ideas in a case study first before we expand it to the public. Let them demonstrate their brilliance on themselves before they apply it to me. 🙂
Look at the terrible job universities are doing at controlling costs. University elites are horrible at managing their own affairs. They are far worse than any private corporation at gouging consumers.
