No sooner had Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper signed three gun-control bills into law Wednesday than the economic backlash began.
Magpul Industries confirmed that it would make good on its vow to leave Colorado if the governor signed the bill to limit ammunition-magazine capacity. The Erie-based company said on its Facebook page that it will start its transition “almost immediately.”
Mr. Hickenlooper acknowledged at the signing ceremony that Magpul might leave Colorado, but said he had concluded that the legislation’s benefits “clearly” outweighed the costs.

Colorado residents are used to driving to Wyoming to buy fireworks. Criminals are criminals because they don’t care about the law. Only a complete moron (i.e. a Democrat) would believe that limiting magazine sales will have any impact on criminal behavior.
Many Colorado sheriff’s departments say the new laws are unenforcable and they will not enforce them. Under the new law, volunteer range safety officers could be arrested for simply helping someone clear the breach of a gun.
These Demoncrats are some of the dumbest people on earth.
Calling the lefties “dumb” is actually giving them the benefit of the doubt. They are incapable of rational thought. They are ruled by visceral urges and uncontrolled emotions. Thus, they are easily manipulated and controlled. Unfortunately, they are armed with the right to vote, a dangerous weapon (more so than an AR-15) in the hands of unthinking zealots.
The governor committed an act of treason when he signed this unconstitutional piece of legislation depriving law-abiding citizens of their Second Amendment rights. In this nation’s earlier days, the governor would have been arrested and tried for treason and hanged from the gallows as a lesson to all other politicians seeking to override the U.S. Constitution through legislative fiat. It’s time for the citizens of Colorado to clean house in the state capitol and governor’s mansion.
Magpul makes great products. I hope they move here to SC.
