NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), under the reign of Thomas Karl, has become a depressing joke. He should have been fired long ago for scientific malfeasance. I usually don’t name names. But I’m thoroughly fed up with the taxpayer-funded NOAA NCDC and NASA GISS bureaucrats, whose junk science is the cornerstone of the anthropogenic global warming fraud. They aren’t interested in honest scientific research; they aim only to please their political bosses, who want to convince the American people that human-induced CO2 is warming the planet. Hence, their deceitful — and rather clumsy — efforts to manipulate temperature data to create an imaginary warming signal. They need to create a crisis. It keeps the research dollars flowing and the paychecks coming.
