I find the excuse that they could not have made it in time to save the Americans killed hollow. How did Clinton and Obama know how long the battle was going to take? If they were were doing their jobs, they would have repositioned satellites, redirected the Mediterranean fleet, sent fighters out of Italy, sent in the Seals, called in all the credit they have with others. Even if the battle were to take only a minute, an hour or a day, they should have pulled out all the stops. Why? Because they should care more about American lives than protecting their political scalps .
If they had been ‘doing their job right’, assets and requested extra security would have been there. For Christ’s sake, it was an American ambassador meeting Islamic terrorists in one of the world’s most dangerous cities to discuss disarmament!

Well lets see, two seals was it, against orders even? and they saved how many lives over a six plus hour ordeal. I think the one four man team within an hour plus some jet flyby runs alone may have worked quite well.

I still think there is more to this story than anyone has figured out…. not calling in the SEALS doesn’t make the screw up go away…It could have helped mitigate the damage. They refused to let them in for another reason…. they wanted Chris (The Ambassador) dead? They wanted a forum to train the world to be Dhimmis with the video Shpeal? Dunno. Can’t imagine why…but, ya gotta wonder.
