Global warming appears to have slowed lately. That’s no reason to celebrate.
Note how NOAA cleverly truncated the left side at 1950 (among other abuses.)
Below I tacked on the 1975 National Academy of Sciences Northern hemisphere graph from 1975, at the same scale. Current temperatures are no warmer than 1940.
Also note how NOAA has massively cooled pre-1960 temperatures, in their graph.
When did 2012 become a La Nina year?

we keep getting contradicting information about global warming. is science failing us?
In my opinion Daniel, it is not “science failing us”. It is parts of science selling out to massive money interests funded through carbon taxes and carbon credits and to curry political favour. The amounts are phenomenal.
It is not possible for science to fail us, only “scientists” who turn into activists and grantologists are to blame
