He is remarkably adept at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Considering what a fool Obama has been on the international stage, it is remarkable an even greater fool has been found to oppose him.

If the American people had a little more backbone then Boehner might too. Though the most recent Rasmussen generic Congressional poll (a few days old now) shows a 40-40 dead heat. Remarkable after the dinosaur media had at them. So maybe my first sentence is incorrect after all?

The GOP leadership is too in love with life in the Beltway and praise they may receive from the media-industrial complex.

OK, I’m not American so maybe my views don’t count in this case. But I think that the Republicans have realized there are two issues: the cliff and the budget. They don’t want to carry the can for USA falling off the fiscal cliff, so they are offering a lifeline for that. But they haven’t conceded anything on the budget yet. They need to show that they can be reasonable so that it becomes quite clear that it is Obama who is not negotiating, and on his head should be any further impasse.

Don’t give up on Boehner yet.

    Rich.

Not bad. But the problem is no matter what is given up, Obama can give up nothing and he is portrayed by the media as compromising. That’s what happened the last time even though Obama got the tax increases he wanted and gave nothing in return.

The Senate has not passed a budget under Obama ever, so this entire mess is due to Reid and Obama to begin with, yet no one in the media ever points that out. The Senate is required by law to pass a budget, but without a penalty. The constant bickering on spending is due to the lack of a budget. The only good thing is that without a budget, spending has actually dropped a tiny bit for the first time in probably decades. But since Obamacare spending kicks in next calendar year, that was just a blip.

The federal fiscal year is October 1 through Sept. 30, so Obamcare spending starting Jan. 1 will be part of the year that just started.

The problem is really incredibly simple. The Democrats and rinos are politicians first last and always. They think their job is to get reelected and they realize they must put on a little show now and then to keep the voters buffaloed. The reason they hate the tea party and tea party Republicans is that these people verge on statesmen more then politicians. Some of them are even willing to be voted out of office in an effort to do the right thing and save the republic. This is scary to a politician. They fully expected to be kept in office until they are quite old and make millions while livng the good life off of the taxpayer. The thought of working for a living and not having the constant gravy train scares them to the bone. They will say anythng and do anything to get reelected and that incudes throwing America under the bus.

Common knowledge is that America will be conquered from within. This is happening now. Likewise, the Republican party will be rendered asunder by the same method. Boner and his fellow RINO plants are engineering their demise on schedule. We will have a one party system just like the former Soviet Union. They will be called Democrats.

Very concise, then teach courses on it.
