Last year was the second snowiest year on record in Fort Collins, and 2014 is getting off to a blazing start.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

I just realized something. If we split CO in two, as many want to do, of course we would have two Colorados: let’s call them CO1, and CO2. Right, that’s CO2. Maybe CO2 could then get some relieve from the brutal cold. Well, not actually, because CO2 doesn’t do squat, see Al Gore exposed for his deceptions on CO2 in his movie which was made three years after even the IPCC admitted that they way Gore presented CO2 was bs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK_WyvfcJyg&info=CO2Lag
Unfortunately, the “scientists” still present things as if Gore’s version is correct, and 90%+ of the people still believe it. So spread the word about the above key 3 1/2 minute video.
I think you mean 2014 is off to a blazing start. 😉

Or not – isn’t the winter referred to as 13/14 ? Our summer certainly is.
But I am sure that is “hot snow” 🙂
Did you hear about the SNOWY OWL sighting in Florida??

Another example of species moving away from the excessive Arctic heat caused by globull worming. Soon there’ll be polar bears wintering in California!

According to the Post Independent, the threat of climate change still imperils the ski industry:

Global warming hitting Florida hard too, with climate refugees…
“The Florida Times-Union reports (http://bit.ly/1atwPrP ) that one of the Arctic birds has been spotted since last week in Little Talbot Island State Park. It’s only the third-ever sighting of a snowy owl confirmed in Florida. They are the largest North American owl, and they’re typically found in Canada and the Arctic.
Park services specialist Peter Maholland says bird watchers have been flocking to northeast Florida to catch a glimpse of the white bird.
Experts say snowy owls fly farther south when their population spikes or their food source becomes scarce. An invasion of snowy owls has been reported this winter across the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.”

Sir John Houghton, former head of the Met Office and IPCC author said in 2007:
No no no. That particular warmist was muy loco. He was ignoring the obvious. It’s obvious that hot causes more snow. That shouldn’t take an Einstein.
Why you would get less snow is a mystery – surely the state of precipitation falling is determined in the upper atmosphere ?
If they said the snow that falls will not last on a warmer surface they may be more accurate.
It should be easy to demonstrate a warmer upper atmosphere resulting in less snowfall and I don’t think this has ever been demonstrated.
But then the “simplified model” of the greenhouse effect is easy to demonstrate by experiment and I know that one fails !
Global warming hitting Canada hard now, and causing ‘Frostquakes’…
“While America collectively freaks out over their impending ‘polar vortex’, Canada is changing the game when it comes to cold weather phenomenon as reports of ‘frost quakes’ emerge from around Toronto and Ontario.
Indeed, as temperatures drop overnight to around -4f around the city hundreds of people are being startled by hearing large booms – causing them to think their homes are being broken into or gunshots are being fired.
In fact, they are merely hearing the after-effects of the frost quakes – or cryoseism – which are more commonly found on a glacier in the polar regions.”
