Obama Destroying Science

By declaring an official and unassailable scientific position on “climate change”-  it is now career threatening for any government scientist to produce evidence to the contrary. Undoubtedly the most disgusting anti-science event in US history.

Climate change is a completely vague, nebulous, undefinable concept, so Obama can use his decree as an excuse to purge anyone who doesn’t fall in line.

  1. I agree, but Obama is only grasping the long-time degeneracy of climate science for his–the Insane Left’s–purposes. He is a complete charade of a man–much less, of a leader–and everyone just needs to start saying “no” to him whenever he opens his mouth. Don’t argue with him in public, Republicans, just tell him–in private and in public–that he is a confirmed habitual and anti-American liar, that only those who have invested their livelihoods in him cannot see that, and the country cannot afford a pretend president, so he needs to leave.

  2. Steve R W says:

Lyndon Larouche ( dare i say it ) was right about Obama all along.

Steve, your president is a nutcase.

  3. Gail Combs says:

He is worse than a nut case. He hates America and is actively doing as much as he can to destroy it. Unfortunately he is helped by the globalists occupying Congress.

    D. Extremist Ideologies
    1. Introduction

    • As noted, an ideology is a set of political beliefs about the nature of people and society. People who are committed to an ideology seek not only to persuade but to recruit others to their belief. In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.

    • While not all ideologists are violent in nature, it is characteristic of ideology to be action-oriented and to regard action in terms of a military analogy. How often have you heard words such as struggle, resist, march, victory, and overcome when reading about or talking to ideologists about their beliefs?

    2. Ideologies
    a. Nationalism – The policy of asserting that the interests of one’s own nation are separate from the interests of other nations or the common interest of all nations. Many nationalist groups take it a step further and believe that their national culture and interests are superior to any other national group.

    b. Supremacy – The belief that one’s race or ethnicity is superior to all others and should dominate society. Supremacy, as with racial supremacies in general, has frequently resulted in anti-Black and anti-Semitic violence.

    c. Separatism – Setting oneself or others apart based on culture, ethnicity, race, or religion.

    d. Anarchism – A political ideology that considers the state to be unnecessary, harmful, or undesirable. National anarchists appeal to youths in part by avoiding the trappings of skinhead culture—light jackets, shaved heads, and combat boots—in favor of hooded sweatshirts and bandanas. They act the part of stereotypical anarchists as envisioned by most Americans outside of far-left circles: black-clad protesters wreaking havoc at political conventions and anti-globalization rallies.

    e. Religion – Extremist ideology based on intolerance toward other religions. Anti- Semitism is a prime example of this ideology….

This is TRAINING for our MILITARY???? US soldiers who are expected to die for their country are not supposed to be patriots and proud of their country???

    • Since it was wrong of the US to stand up to the British, can we send Obama to England, where he would have been if the evil patriots hadn’t had a tea party?

      • Dave N says:

As soon as I read what Gail posted, that was my first thought: they’re condemning the very act that brought about their freedom and country? Seriously, all rational thought has departed the US.

        • No, though all rational thought has departed the leaders of the US. It remains to be seen if those still retaining rational thought will correct the situation. Remember, 67% of the US does not like Obama, believes he is a liar (which him endorsing climage change may actually be a good thing), and that he cannot lead. Now, if that 67% would get out and run for office and vote, rational thought might come back to the leaders, too. The MSM will simply die a slow death–no quick fix for the irrationality there.

        • rw says:

People like David Horowitz have been warning for years that the Left has been infiltrating all of the major institutions in the US. Now, with the presidency in their hands they’re going for broke. I suspect there’s also a post fall-of-the-USSR desperation about this as well. I.e. at some level they know their worldview has failed, so now it’s just a frustrated will-to-dominate – spoiled brat attitudes raised to a deadly pitch.

  5. When I was an undergraduate at a Canadian university in 1958 our professor warned us that if we publicly accepted the theory that continents move, we could never get a teaching or research position at any North American University.

Five years later Tuzo Wilson at the University of Toronto started publishing papers in plate tectonics.

    Will history repeat?

    • marque2 says:

Actually 30 years prior the hypothesis was put forth by Wegner – who was laughed off the stage – which is why the prof had to say such things. The hypothesis was already out there and the shapes of the landasses – similarity of fossiles and geological formations where the continents ripped were all established already.

George Orwell had it right in 1946, when he started writing “Nineteen Eighty-Four.”

That was also the year the interior of the Sun was suddenly changed, from mostly iron (Fe) in 1945 to mostly hydrogen (H) in 1946.

How did George Orwell figure out so quickly a tyrannical government was coming that would rule by deception?

Was Fred Hoyle forced to write the two papers that re-defined the Sun and laid the foundation for the SSM Standard Solar Model in 1946?

Hoyle and Orwell were both British authors of science fiction.

I am hoping for some good cold nasty snowy icy winters, cool springs and summers and drought in California. With lucky it will shake the Sheeple out of their hypnotic trance before too much damage is done to our energy system.

The window of opportunity is closing for the CAGW scammers and maybe if Ma Nature cooperates people will not allow them to just slink away.

Maybe a few dozen bus loads of irate inner city types shipped to Penn State after a winter of blackouts and high energy prices….. the state is losing several coal plants and so are the surrounding states of Ohio, Virgina and W Va link

A lot more coal plants (3.5 times as many) are closing than EPA thought so all that may be needed are the buses. (snicker)

  8. Bob Greene says:

Just to be picky, climate change is real. The climate has changed, is changing and very likely until the sun burns away the atmosphere will change. The climateers co-opted a natural phenomenon when AGW and CAGW didn’t work out so well for them. The misuse of the language and science is Orwellian. Who could really deny the climate is changing?

I became a real skeptic when people started telling me they could control the climate and stop it from changing. But our dear leader has many magical powers.

    • Luke of the D says:

Damn right man! Damn right! I couldn’t help but laugh when the Empty Chair sad “Climate change is fact.” I kept thinking: “Well, of course it is, climate has always changed and always will.” I mean for God’s sake, if the climate didn’t change we would be living in an atmosphere full of N2 and C02 and SO2 and H2SO4 and absolutely no 02 and life never would have formed! What organism on Earth isn’t eternally grateful for climate change!?

  9. richard says:

So there we have it, this is precisely what Stalin did with his scientists.

  10. hannuko says:

We have had this since the early 2000’s. The president (who had very little other kind of power) decided that the official government position was that climate change is happening because of human CO2 emissions and it is dangerous. At the time I was young, naiive and alarmist and thought this was a great thing to do. Little did I know what it actually meant.

This prevented anyone hoping to have a career in public sector from disagreeing with it. Because science in Finland is done almost exclusively by government funded institutes and universities, suddenly we had a scientific concensus on an issue that was very controversial at the time!

A close relative of mine even knows personally a current head of a scientific institute, who has been forced to publicly support people making statements he thinks are full of BS. Rocking the boat gets you fired.

Finnish Forest Research Institute isn’t still toeing the line. They are generally very hostile toward the idea that we are somehow living in an exceptionally warm period. I guess that isn’t surprising since Finnish tree rings unquestinably support the idea that most of the holocene was much warmer. Making them say anything else would be in total conflict with the research they produce and therefore make their actual scientific output useless. 😀

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
While at Oxford Orwell was taught French by Aldous Huxley. Huxley introduced Orwell to the Fabian Society. Aldous Huxley’s brother was Julian Huxley the first Director-General of UNESCO.

All of these people, Including the Webbs, George Bernard Shaw (google the Real George Bernard Shaw) H.G. Wells were into Eugenics and ‘Global Governance’ The Fabians started and still control the London School of Economics where world leaders in politics, industry and banking are ‘shaped’

Orwell was very well aware of what was planned and wrote the book as a warning after he broke away from the Fabians.

Also google the Fabian stained glass window and the wolf in sheep’s clothing that is the Fabian mascot.

Thank you, thank you, Gail, for that information! My knowledge of history is weak to nonexistent. I didn’t like history and did not complete high school.

My knowledge of nuclear (PhD) and space (Postdoc) science is better.

The best available experimental measurements* have shown, beyond reasonable doubt, that these two lies became part of the foundation of “consensus science” after 1945:

      1. The internal composition of the Sun was changed from mostly iron (Fe) in
      1945 to mostly hydrogen (H) in 1946

  23. tony says:

As Mervin say’s, Obama must be an idiot to say such things and telling the scientists in this field of study what they should do. As we say here “each to their own” and I think he should be. Scientists do not dictate to him on what the federal Government should be doing!! Time he shut up and let the experts do what they are paid to do..

  24. omanuel says:

I believe Michael Mann was on the “fast track” to becoming the next President of the United States National Academy of Sciences when Climategate emails were released in November 2009 !

Those who first recognized the absurdity of adjusting observations and data to fit models had no idea how deeply embedded that practice had become in the scientific community.

Many still cannot conceive of the rot at the core of post-normal science.

  25. johnmarshall says:

Obama may think that he is the Pope throwing decrees out like feeding the birds. He is for the birds with no grasp of reality or understanding of science. I feel sorry for you America but then we have the same problem in the UK with Cameron et al..

    • omanuel says:

“we have the same problem in the UK” because Cameron and Obama are both puppets controlled by the same spirit of the late Joseph Stalin.Warn the

That is why George Orwell started writing “Nineteen Eighty – Four” in 1946:

To warn the public a new tyrannical government was coming that would be worse than the one that ruled half of the world under Stalin before the start of WWII.

      • The problem with “warning” people is humans rarely listen until it’s far to late to act and stop something. It rarely works to warn people about anything. The only purpose for speaking the truth and pointing out what should be obvious is after the catastrophe manifests itself to the point it cannot be ignored, there are instructions for how to get out of the mess and what to do thereafter. “Warning” about future events is in the same category as laws. Laws don’t prevent crime. They explain what is and is not acceptable and what punishment exists for doing that which is unacceptable. Nothing stops people from believing in fantasies until the reality becomes impossible to ignore.

  26. omanuel says:

NEUTRON REPULSION is the forbidden force of fragmentation that destroyed Hiroshima on 6 Aug 1945 and Nagasaki on 9 Aug 1945.

    1. Form the United Nations on 24 Oct 1945, and then
    2. Forbid knowledge after 1946 of energy in cores of
_ a.) Heavy atoms like Uranium
_ b.) Ordinary stars like the Sun !
