- Obama tells government scientists that they have to agree with him, or lose their jobs.
- Government scientists then agree with him.
- Obama then says “100% of government scientists agree with me”
- Kook and Nuttercelli then write a paper about the 97% consensus.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

And now these same scientists are in danger because they know something that should not be known. What is the most efficient way to silence a person.

Of course that would never happen in the US.
Obama has no friends.
I’m really starting to believe that Robert. Positions on policy (gay marriage, pot, etc, etc) are routinely revised 180 degrees on the WH website to keep up with the “evolving” opinions of this Chameleon in Chief.
5. Obama’s belief reinforced because all scientists agree with him.
The danger of government backed ‘science’…
“We all have an image in our minds of the role of scientists in Nazi Germany: sinister, lab-coated figures who spent half their time conducting gruesome – and largely pointless – experiments on concentration?camp inmates to gratify their own cruel impulses, and the other half devising futuristic weapons of mass destruction for Hitler to hurl at the advancing Allies in a last attempt to stave off defeat.
Yet once you dig a little deeper, what is so disturbing is how prosaic the reality was, how similar in form, if not content, their work was to the research of today. As I discovered when researching a history of the Nazis at war, much of what scientists did under the Third Reich was regarded as “normal science”, subject to standard protocols of peer review in conferences and journals. The infamous Dr Josef Mengele regarded himself as a normal scientist, held seminars to discuss his experiments, got research funds from the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in Berlin, and reported regularly to his teacher, the eminent scientist Otmar von Verschuer, on his progress.”

Most combat pilots love to fly.
So very true.
Back in the 70s , a friend of mine, a Holocaust survivor, always stated that the US could easily follow the same course as Nazi Germany.
I remember others emphatically argued that our system of “checks and balances” set up within the constitution would prevent such a takeover.
It started here, in America, and was not stopped by a document. It was stopped by WE THE PEOPLE who remembered our founding documents, and the reasoning behind them. God help us if we lose that knowledge down the Progressive road, forward.
“Hitler and his henchmen victimized an entire continent and exterminated millions in his quest for a co-called “Master Race.”
But the concept of a white, blond-haired, blue-eyed master Nordic race didn’t originate with Hitler. The idea was created in the United States, and cultivated in California, decades before Hitler came to power. California eugenicists played an important, although little known, role in the American eugenics movement’s campaign for ethnic cleansing.
Eugenics was the racist pseudoscience determined to wipe away all human beings deemed “unfit,” preserving only those who conformed to a Nordic stereotype. Elements of the philosophy were enshrined as national policy by forced sterilization and segregation laws, as well as marriage restrictions, enacted in twenty-seven states. In 1909, California became the third state to adopt such laws. Ultimately, eugenics practitioners coercively sterilized some 60,000 Americans, barred the marriage of thousands, forcibly segregated thousands in “colonies,” and persecuted untold numbers in ways we are just learning. Before World War II, nearly half of coercive sterilizations were done in California, and even after the war, the state accounted for a third of all such surgeries.”

I agree with you that it is going to be the people who rise up against these monsters. Although I knew that the master race mindset was already in pre-war US; I didn’t know the pseudo-science actually originated here. That is very interesting information. Thank you for the link.
Eisenhower got it spot-on in his farewell address.
“For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers. The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present — and is gravely to be regarded.
Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite.”
BINGO!
And they never have a shortage of money because they can always print more of it. Imagine Julius Caesar with an unlimited gold and silver supply.
Yes. I can imagine. Two years learning Latin.

Ah crap, I thought it was going to be a picture. Like a dump truck full of tax-payer money being showered on academics, government cronies and other socialist fanatics.
Nuttercelli won Pointman’s Prat of 2013.

The scientific method says you cannot look at raw data, only manufactured data concocted by those with a multi billion dollar agenda.
I find US concerns about current events in Egypt ironic.

This certainly explains ‘fear review’.
I suppose it will be forbidden to use ice breakers to save the polar bear or people on russian ships in Antarctica.
Thank you Andy Oz for that bit of info regarding Dam removal.
Just a note RE; Pres. Obama’s mention of Climate Change is certain in his speech.
A running agreement/ disagreement % with three categories; Republican, Democrat and Independent.
When he said (anthropogenic) climate change is for certain The agreement among Democrats was somewhere around 55% Independents dropped to quite low (I am uncertain) and Republicans dropped to 5%. That was the greatest divide between those who identify with the two parties.
Trust in government survey shows Obama is cratering!
Meanwhile, Australia has gone up since we got rid of Obama’s girlfriend.
