First ocean going ship of the season just made it through the St. Lawrence Seaway on May 9th. Over a month later than the previous record late date set last year of March 30th.

To be fair, he did put the long range as 2018. On the other hand, I expect he’ll be even more wrong then. Does he even mention Arctic sea ice these days?
