It took decades to train progressives to hate themselves enough to eagerly elect someone who despises them, and wants to see them punished.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Daniel Hannan describes the disease of Progressives. It can be seen manifested in those squirming in their seats and making asinine statements.

Thanks for the pointer to Zerohedge.
This comment is a classic and well worth the read.
It took decades to train progressives to hate themselves enough to eagerly elect someone who despises them, and wants to see them punished.
Well, the work wasn’t all in vain, was it.
“…hate themselves enough to eagerly elect someone who despises them, and wants to see them punished.”
With these empty but winning phrases and slogans
.
.
Can America be corrupted and laid low by just a sloganizer?
Apparently – slogans work, even for empty handed salesmen.
Then most Americans seem to be easily lead, easily fooled?
Maybe not. Maybe next time they will see through the stupid slogans and empty promises.
I wonder, it’s such a monumental task.
The problem is the press. They believe having the First Black President is epic, so nothing else matters. It is racism. They will not hold Obama to normal standards, because they believe he is incapable of normal standards, because he is black.
Exactly, MSM is incapable of regarding him as a male human with faults. They are totally destracted by color.
Our very own “Affirmative Action President”
If anyone had any doubts about how bad “Affirmative Action” is AND they are honest, this administration would convince them.
Giving someone a job for any other reason than they are the best suited for the job is pure idiocy. Unfortunately it is done all the time.
After I posted, I thought I should have included “Affirmative Action President.”
Thanks for adding it.
Lincoln(?) said something like “You can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.”
I think we can add: “But, you can fool enough of the people enough of the time”.
Video of a pissed off free thinking man versus brain washed Progressives. One day, a progressive President, just like Obama, will order the same thing in the US, unless your younger generations start thinking for themselves and stop believing the lies being fed to them.

I have a lady friend who was a Captain in the PLA at the time. She told me the local military units stood down and refused to shoot. The shooters were units brought in from the hinterlands who did not speak the Beijing dialect. My mother-in-law was there the next day along with thousands of other parents who were pissed the government would kill kids. She pulled a little time for that one.
It took over a century of deliberately undermining the USA to get where we are today.
Here are three snippets that show how it was done and why.
From the book Willing Accomplices: How KGB Covert Influence Agents Created Political Correctness and Destroyed America by Kent Clizbe
Then add in the 1934 speech in Congress by McFadden:
And finally add in the last bit from the U.S. Congressional Record February 9, 1917, page 2947
The J.P. Morgan interests to this day still control a major portion of the MSM link
One point of interest is Karl Marx, while he was writing was supported by his uncle Lion Philips, a banker. Phillips was grandfather of the founder of the well-known Dutch and international industrial concern, Philips & Co.
I have often wondered if ‘Marxism’ was a giant joke purposely foisted on the soon to be serfs. This quote from Marx certainly supports that notion:
Google translate gives “while on the other hand with fresh human waste steamers loaded not yet arrived. “ so debris is the gentler term for what Marx said.
Stalin certainly had a similar point of view of humanity as has several others enforcing Marxism.
The Fabians took up the Marxist banner just after Marx died but preferred a gradual path to the same goal.
Sure sounds like “communization” has a heck of a lot in common with the old feudal serf system especially when you add in Agenda 21 Transit Villages, The modern equivalent of a fiefdom.
It amazes me that supposedly educated modern people wholeheartedly embrace this enslavement of their children and grandchildren, yet we see this system infecting the entire world.
As far as I can tell you are now just another long post censorious tribal bastard.
I check in again to see replies, but then my initial post be gone.
You are just the shrill flip side of alarmism, no better than any other lonely opportunist.
Why did you censor my account?
All the while allowing Iron Man and Ancient Gods guy to thrive here?
Is it because you are a turncoat?
You will be known for your consciously projected influence, dear activist.
And so far, your influence is significantly negative, weirdo.
Wait . . . what?
“… weirdo.”
For some reason, the idea of glass houses came to mind.

Jonathan Merritt wrote about Calvinist Christianity in a web site on Faith & Culture, defined Christians as “those who adhere to a theological system centering on human sinfulness” The liberal self hate is not really different from the fundamental theology of Christianity, that humans are all born as sinners. Those same guilt feelings fuel the whole environmental movement, feminism, and socialism.
You are aware that you are conflating ‘Calvinist Christians’ and ‘Christians’. I was raised in Protestant churches in Europe and the US, in Baptist, Methodist and Presbyterian congregations. The only message repeated over and over was that we are to love one another, not hate humanity. Even the Baptists taught that it may be OK to hate the sin, but never the sinner.
This is one more reason why lefties hate the church.
You know the difference between a Methodist and a Baptist?
The Methodist will speak to you in the liquor store.
I love that joke, and tell it whenever I can because it is true!
Yes, Christian doctrine universally preaches original sin with hope of salvation coming only from Jesus. Humans are universally and inherently bad. That philosophy originated in Persia and Zoroastrianism, or perhaps before. It permeates “Progressive” feelings that we need GOVERNMENT control of our lives to keep us from doing bad, that corporations are all bad, that humans are destroying the earth and causing “climate change,” etc. Atheists have gotten past the hope of salvation, but the concept of universal human badness permeates their world view.
Nope. Never heard any of that in my many years of being a member of many different congregations. Maybe you are speaking of Catholics? 😉
Our founders were very religious men and understood that God gives us free will, which is why they were opposed to what Progressives want, and defined our rights as coming from our creator. My relationship or lack thereof with God is a personal and unique thing. Maybe you should try another source for your definition of what a Christian is or is not.
