New Peer Reviewed Study : Atlantic Ocean No Longer Part Of The Earth

Tropical cyclones worldwide are moving out of the tropics and more toward the poles and generally larger populations, likely because of global warming, a surprising new study finds. Atlantic hurricanes, however, don’t follow this trend.

Study: Tropical cyclones migrating out of tropics

As usual, the “scientists” involved in this study have no idea what they are talking about.

That is Aussie having a bad hair day and proud of it!
“Surprising” is not the adjective I’d use to describe that “scientific” study.

  2. Brian G Valentine says:

“Florida International University hurricane professor Hugh Willoughby called this the strongest tropical cyclone and global warming link yet.”

I believe I met the guy about three years ago at an NSF review – he was against connecting connecting cyclone activity and global warming at the time. He said there was no evidence of any sort.

    I am mystified

  3. Bill says:

    Mystified? Why? He wants funding.

  4. Anthony S says:

Since the study only goes back to 1982, well… It has no historical perspective.

  5. Billy Liar says:

I can tell you one thing that tropical cyclones don’t like – land! They go to pieces as soon as they hit land and lose the source of their energy. See above pic of Australia.

  6. oldfossil says:

Australia’s change of government hasn’t made any difference to the climate science regime. This very large country with a pretty small population must have about ten times more AGW propagandists per capita, than any other country. One can only surmise a very favorable funding model.
