Comment From Susan Crockford

Two big lies perpetuated in that article (but thanks for the heads-up!): Environment Canada says there are 1000-1500 bears in WHB (and the Polar Bear Specialist Group says 1000) – Derocher and PBI are saying 800. Where does that number come from?

Freeze-up, according to the latest research by polar bear biologists published in peer-reviewed literature, is not “late” unless it occurs in early December. It’s early November and ice is already forming along the coast, suggesting freeze-up is not far off.

I’m ahead of their nonsense claims this year, see the posts below:

Can we bear a few dozen more lies? What flavor? White, black, brown or cinnamon?

  2. Louis Hooffstetter says:

In regards to the second link above, lest anyone forget, Andy Derocher (Chairman of the Polar Bear Specialist Group) is a certified snake who had no qualms about stabbing his mentor (Dr. Mitchell Taylor) in the back for expressing an extremely informed opinion that human influence on climate change (and resulting Polar bear populations) might be overstated:

Like Dr, William Gray, Dr. Taylor was castigated and blackballed for telling the truth. Nothing Derocher says can be trusted. He has an agenda that he will not allow to be derailed by scientific facts.

How to count polar bears: collect 1,000 global warmists and then strip them to their underwear and tell them to swim in Hudson Bay for one hour.

If there are no survivors, it means the polar bears are at least 1,000. And well fed.

Thank you Dr Crockford. It’s all good news that Arctic wildlife is doing fine, because if the bears are OK, so is everything else they eat.
