Huge Increase In Autumn Snow Cover Over The Past 35 Years

Autumn snow cover has been steadily increasing towards record levels, and is up more than 30% since 1979. Experts are very careful not to talk about this, because it wrecks their fake little theory which keeps their funding coming in.

Snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event.”
“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is.”

did you remove 1969 and 1971 from the calculation of the linear regression since they are labeled “ND”? (You can’t count them as zero)

  6. James Strom says:

This looks quite familiar. I grew up with brown/black snow in Chicago.

Seriously, thanks for this. I wonder how big the albedo effect turns out to be.

A list of persons responsible for this scam will have to brought to justice 1. Maurice Strong 2. Michael Mann.

    35 years from 1979 to 2014, not 25 years.

The bulk of that autumn snow increase is in North America. An ice-age pattern?

    Carry on!

  10. Crowbar of Daintree Forest says:

OK, someone’s gonna say it. Might as well be me.
1979 looks like a huge cherry-pick. Look at 1976 in comparison.

    • David A says:

Of course it is, but not Tony’s. The alarmist all use 1979 as a basis, as it was exceptionally cold. As they use it often, it is a fair bases from their predictions of ski resorts closing, children not knowing what snow is etc.

Besides, in general skeptics are not asserting this will continue. Why? Because they, skeptics, believe in climate change, and they expect it to.

I remember driving on what must have been a single sheet of ice from St. Louis to Northern WI over the 1979 Christmas holiday. It was an epic winter.

  11. Mike D says:

Here’s a headline that would be all over the place if it were latest ice formation instead of earliest. Instead it is just Michigan news carrying it, plus the Daily Mail in the UK.

Imagine that after so much cold and snow in the US (less than 3% of the earth’s surface) the average global temperature is still raising.
