Nutcase on The Loose In The US Senate

I’m in Colorado this weekend, and have heard a couple of ads on the radio for Democratic slimeball incumbent Mark Udall, saying his opponent Cory Gardner is responsible for record floods and fires in Colorado.

Besides the 15th century mentality of blaming the weather on other people, the claims about record floods and fires are complete nonsense.

Colorado just had one of its quietest fire years on record, but in 1898 had a fire which burned up nearly one quarter of the state. Probably 100 times larger than any recent fires.

In 1935, Colorado received 23 inches of rain in four hours. More than the entire week of last year’s flood.

Woodward Ranch, Texas (about 17 miles northwest of D’Hanis, which is 40 miles west of San Antonio) measured an amazing 10.00? in 1 hour, 15.00? in 2 hours and a world record 22.00? in 2 hours and 45 minutes on May 31,1935 between 3:00-6:00 a.m. This was an especially interesting event since, just hours earlier, a rain gauge in eastern Colorado (at a location 25 miles northeast of Colorado Springs) measured 24? of rain in a 6-hour period between noon-6:00 p.m. May 30th (22.80? of which fell in just 4 hours). Several other gauges in eastern Colorado also measured amounts close to this, lending creditability to the figure

Politics is a funny thing. As a team sport they’ll rile up a whole bunch of supporters to burn witches, and make sacrifices to the weather gods irregardless of the facts.

  2. Derron says:

Hell, there’s lot’s of nutcases (aka Democrats) loose in the Senate.

  3. Phil Jones says:

Over the years … Democrats in particular have come out with some insulting.. Preposterous accusations specifically regarding race, gender..

The only way to halt this is in Court… Purely Libel to assert GOP candidates have killed women and dragged black men to death in the South… Until an upper limit is set… Progressives will continue to make Libelous statements…

Oh, and kind hearted feminist progressives laughed at Nikki Haley being called a whore… Reveals how the speak/think behind closed doors… “Show whore door, show whore door, show whore door!!”

    • stjones911 says:

When they threw Monica Lewinsky under the bus, I understood that feminists do not care about individual women. They care about the political power that accrues to them from alpha male Democrats who also don’t care about individual women.

It’s high time for Udall to get kicked out of office “to spend more time with his family”, including his 20-something son who has been convicted of burglarizing cars. Son has a bit of a drug problem, as I recall

But Mooch-elle O’Bummah thinks Mark is a “fifth-generation Coloradoan”, so that ought to earn a few votes from the Clueless Community. Arizona is, like, sooooooo Colorado, ya know?

Maybe The Mooch was just samplin’ some of the local “legal” weed

  5. gofer says:

They also ran and ad saying Gardner would ban condoms and told men to stock up in case he won. Its incredible how stupid they think their voters are and just maybe they are stupid and completely oblivious judging by the absurd lies they are broadcasting.

  6. nielszoo says:

… and our good friends in the Progressive media will continue to support said slimeball. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, can you image how bad these Progressive politicians and our Progressive government would be perceived if the new media just reported the neutral facts just half the time. They can keep their Democrat / liberal / Progressive agenda and lies for the other half, but just try reporting the unvarnished, unbiased truth for half the time… not one of these power hungry idiots would ever get elected again and a great many of them would be in jail.

    • R. Shearer says:

Surprisingly, the Denver Post endorsed Gardner.

      • nielszoo says:

Eventually the crashing advertising revenue following recall elections, talk of secession and whole industries moving out of the state have to seep into the minds of the accountants advising the managing editors of these rags.

  7. Send Al to the Pole says:

There must be an adjudicator of consequence to solve this. The only such organization is the military. If (freedom loving) military leaders stepped forward and simply asserted they were going to conduct a fully audited election – where you can only vote in your district, must show up in person with ID, every identity certified to have voted only once in any state, is a legal citizen, etc., etc., we would find there are not so many blue states as people think. Studies have found tens of thousands of double registrations in comparisons of only 2 states. If this practice is nationwide, and there is no reason to think it isn’t, combined with votes of the dead, illegals, etc., the total number of illegal votes is in the hundreds of thousands if not more.

  8. Andy Oz says:

I blame Mark Udall for the 1898 Colorado wildfires. Or his Grand Daddy.

When they go wacko like that I smell FEAR and so I went to the RealClearPolitics site and this is what I found:http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2014/senate/co/colorado_senate_gardner_vs_udall-3845.html

Udall probably have internals that show Gardner pulling away more than RCP shows.

  10. Andy DC says:

According to alarmists, we evil humans inherited a perfect, pristine world where hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, floods and fires never took place. Or if somehow they did, they were totally natural and happy disasters.

  11. darrylb says:

Well, what else could he come up with when his ‘war on women’ meme became stale.
But take heart, it appears Udall will lose. —- which means there remains some common sense in Colorado!
