There has been no change in the frequency of 1 cm rainfall events in the US
The frequency of 5 cm rainfall events is about the same as 100 years ago, and they peaked in the 19th century.
Experts say that heavy rainfall events are increasing due to global warming, but there isn’t one smidgen of evidence to support that claim.

In the UK there have been similar claims that extreme rainfall is increasing, usually in comparison to the 1960’s when rainfall was lower.
Such claims usually ignore earlier rainfall patterns, and I presume it is the same in the U.S.A.
On top of that, all the pictures used by the global warmists show DROUGHTS and complain, ‘There isn’t enough rain’ even when it is raining in stupid California.
Now wait just a minute, I thought all rainfall events were going to be a thing of the past and the whole world would burn up in eternal drought, now I hear that it is supposed to flood instead…..Just when I sold my boat because there would be nowhere to sail it. sheesh!

You are overlooking the obvious. Not only is that the raw data, but what if someone read the rain gauge at noon and someone else read the rain gauge at 8pm? Clearly there are adjustments that need to be made.
Sorry, but ‘what if’ scenarios are not grounds for adjusting actual observations. Weather stations are not prone to anarchy, like climastrology.
We’ll leave the adjustment to their wives. “Honey, I told you to adjust these figures by 8 inches, & you only adjusted them by 2.”
At this time there is no evidence supporting the alarmist claims based upon speculated mathematical relationships the predict some general rule of the cooling rates of the Earth. All observations falsify the models that are the supposed prediction proof of said relationships.
There is no global warming and If increased rain events are predicted by the speculated mathematical relationships of CO2 driven global warming then there is simply more proof that all global warming alarmist science is bovine excrement in total.
