One of the favorite scams of climate alarmists is to blame an eroding sandbar in Alaska on your SUV.

In 1905, which was one of NASA’s coldest years on record – the entire city of Valdez, Alaska was relocated due to melting glaciers.

  1. dp says:

That folly set Valdez up for the other shoe to drop and that happened with the 1964 Anchorage AK earthquake and the ensuing tsunami.

  2. Andy Oz says:

The Marble Bar 160 day heatwave record of 1923/24 also happened during NASA’s super cold years. Strangely the info files have been deleted from the BOM website?! We must be revising history down under.

Australian schools still have the story ………… for now.

  3. Andy Oz says:

Valdez floods happened in July 1911 as well.

Greenland Climate Change of July 1953
“Russia’s sea lanes are open 8 months of the year instead of 3.”
“In Greenland, melting ice is uncovering farms abandoned by farmers when an ice age developed in medieval times. Cod herring, and other fish are moving far into northern waters to the delight of the Eskimos.”

This was before NASA was formed, so cannot be used as evidence against them.

  4. Winnipeg Boy says:

If I read the maps of the last Ice Age correctly; Alaska was not involved in the glaciation.
A warm Alaska should be a red flag….for cooling.

  5. Andy DC says:

Nye definitely has that Pee Wee Herman look about him. Would you leave your young boy alone with him?
