Scientists Are Melting Down – Not The Polar Ice Caps

In 1989, NASA scientists rejected most of Hansen’s 1988 Congressional  lies – and announced that Greenland and Antarctica were gaining ice and that sea level rise was not accelerating.

Again, in 2004, NASA announced that Antarctica had been cooling rapidly for decades.

While most of the Earth warmed rapidly during recent decades, surface temperatures decreased significantly over most of Antarctica.

And in 2015, NASA announced that Antarctica was gaining ice mass.

But telling the truth about climate doesn’t pay the bills, so the climate mafia ignores the data and simply makes scary stories up.

In 2005, NASA maps reflected the Antarctic cooling which Gavin reported in 2004.

But this blue map wrecked their scam, so NASA simply changed the data in 2007 to a red map – and Nature Magazine happily assisted their fraud.

The key to being a good climate scientist is to produce scary looking graphs and maps, and pretend that there is some actual science behind your fraud. Putting a NASA or NOAA seal on your fake study helps too.

  1. Steve Case says:

From the 12/25/1989 St Louis Dispatch article above:
Scientists who are assessing the prospect of global warming and sea level change now believe that the oceans will rise by only 12 inches by the year 2050

And that from 1989 comes to 5.0 mm/yr. Colorado University is struggling to make the current rate 3.4 mm/yr* when in actual fact the rate according to tide gauges is around 2 mm/yr.

    * I think it’s a done deal that the satellite rate will be 3.4 mm/yr when the UC’s 2016_rel3 comes out.

  2. AndyG55 says:

UAH and RSS both show NO WARMING, in fact SLIGHT COOLING in the Antarctic for the WHOLE period of the satellite record.

  3. Gail Combs says:

It is a USA election year and the people of UK (and other countries) are rumbling about getting out of the EU. Therefore expect an all out push to scare the sheeple into voting demon-rat/ progressive/fabian/leftist.

Rasmussen shows in their latest poll:
Date —- Human activity – Planetary Trends – Other Reason
    Aug 2015 — 44% ——————39% ——————-7%
    (Several polls over time listed)

    Another poll shows:
June 04, 2015 — Most voters still aren’t ready to pay much, if anything, to fight global warming, but a slightly higher number are willing to spend more for the cause.

This is why D. Trump talks of renegotiating trade deals and walks softly around the CAGW subject.

As Rasmusen said in the first article “Despite President Obama’s recent announcement of an even more ambitious plan to limit greenhouse gas emissions from power plants, voters still put job creation ahead of the fight against global warming and don’t blame their fellow Americans for worrying about the economy first.” so that is the button Trump is pushing with his ‘better trade deals’ The Unions and rank and file left HATE the Trans-Pacific Partnership and other job killing trade deals.

This poll shows just how stupid and brainwashed the American voter now is What Do Voters Think of Hillary Clinton’s Energy Plan?

… survey finds that 56% of Likely U.S. Voters think Clinton’s plan to increase the amount of electricity generated by renewable energy sources to 33% by 2027 will be good for the economy. Twenty-three percent (23%) think the plan will be bad for the economy, while 12% say it will have no impact….

Of course another good way to be a climate scientist is to be a reviewer of any paper that demonstrates that your scary map wasn’t correct. Then hide behind anonymous status while throwing hurdles to block/delay the publication of the paper that is critical of yours while not letting people know that you are a reviewer of a paper that criticizes yours.

Very post normal climate science. You just gotta be a member of the team.

LOL it’s been a long time since the words “wrong graph” have been said here, made me think of marty the gore bot, I used to love reading those comment wars, you all always proved him wrong and shut him up

  6. BobbyK says:

so as I said I’ll be posting articles, hoping for good responses on why they’re bogus, starting with this one
