Four people died in West Virginia flooding after eight inches of rain in 24 hours. Scientists declared this to be a global warming induced apocalypse.

According to the National Weather Service Office, the 24-hour rainfall there was 8.17 inches.

The US record for one hour rainfall was set in West Virginia in 1943, when they received nearly 14 inches of rain in one hour. The US record for 24 hour rainfall is 43 inches set in 1979 – more than 500% of what was received in West Virginia this week. All US short term rainfall records were set when CO2 was below 350 PPM.
