In 1992 a man stepped up to me on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder and said:

“I am Jerry Brown. I am running for President and I would like your vote. Can we talk?”

I smiled, said “No” and left him there. He looked dejected. He probably thought he’s not getting traction with Boulder Progressives.

        Little did I know …

  3. Frank K. says:

The big difference this election cycle is that it is only early August. Three full months until the election. There’s plenty of time of “October Surprises”.

And remember this. Last election (2012), the Republicans nominated one of the nicest, thoughtful, well-spoken candidates in recent memory. Yet he lost to Obama. And the Republicans down ticket were hurt as well.

I REALLY wish Trump would come up with a game plan and not shoot from the hip as he’s doing now. That said, there’s plenty of time to turn things around, but he’d better start making some changes now and try to get the Dems on the defensive. Otherwise, October will roll around, and there will be little left to salvage.

    • Gail Combs says:

Do not underestimate Trump. Right now he is doing a ‘Truman’ and running Hitlery into the ground. He is also showing she has NO REAL SUPPORT!

Hillary has to HIRE people to fill a small space and even uses high school kids. The DNC/MSM/GOP globalist establishment is trying to con the American public into thinking she has more support than she actually does. However with blogs, facebook and twitter reality is getting out.

      What MSM shows it’s readers

      The actual facts.

(Hillary vs Trump rallies taken by a commenter (Wiggy) at both rallies in Omaha. Both rallies were in high school gyms.)

After the Fire Marshals played dirty tricks in Ohio these last few rallies ….lock Trump in an elevator for 1/2 hour at one rally followed by a venue with capacity of 6,500 where marshal demands no more than 1000…. . Trump asked his followers if he should move to basketball stadiums (14,000 to 64,000 people) and received a resounding YES!

If he can fill those venues the MSM, GOP and DNC will go explody head as the photos make the rounds.

Hillary is not giving actual question/answer type press conferences for close to a year. Hillary had to ditch her campaign rallies. All she has is the MSM foaming at the mouth Attack Dogs in the media. The trust in the media BEFORE DNC-Wikileaks was 6% now I think you can find that trust flushed down the toilet headed for the bottom of the ocean.

This pounding on the Kahn-con when he has already been outed as a rabid islamist is an example of how the MSM lying is back firing.

Sharia Law supports slavery of a wife by a husband, which was just visually proven on the DNC stage. Mrs Kahn was silent, with head covered and standing two steps behind her husband. This scene of subjugation of women appears at Hillary’s coronation so Trump honours the son and remarks on the wife’s silence. MSM goes BALLISTIC!

      then OOPS,
Hillary Is Busted: The Real Booklet Hillary’s Man Was Carrying For Years Was The Muslim Shari’ah Constitution And NOT The U.S Constitution

“In other words, the one he was carrying for years is his booklet on Sharia Law. The one he carried the other day was for photo ops and propaganda.” — Walid Shoebat

Khan never once wrote complementing the U.S. Constitution until Trump,  instead, in his booklet, The Sharia Explained (we copied shocking excerpts) of what the media failed to vet:  Khan’s real booklet clearly upholds Shari’ah while denouncing any other including any modern reforms to Islam. He concludes that Sharia should be “upheld in its original form” and that it has “no room for change” insisting that Muslims worldwide must be “subordinated to the Shari’ah”….
      So lets see the quote…

“to Muslims, the Quran being the very word of God, it is the absolute authority from which springs the very conception of legality and every legal obligation.”

Khan then jumps to instruct Muslims to use Al-Muwatta, the oldest book on Islamic Shari’ah law, written by Muwatta Imam Malik “to bring about legal uniformity in the Muslim nation”

And now Kahn scrambles to wipe the internet linking him to selling entry into the USA to muslims.
And there is this: Khizr Khan -A Miserable Con of Saudi Intervention

The MSM reinforces the fact they are the propaganda arm of the DNC as the result of a single simple sentence by Trump.

  4. Gail Combs says:

These are Trump’s ‘agenda polls vs the real results.

The CNN poll is complete trash since they LEFT OUT the Bernie vote, age 18 to 35

    So Did Reuters
After Reuters polling showed a 17 point swing in the last two weeks of July, to benefit Donald Trumplink There was panic.

So Reuters made changes to keep the narrative going that Hillary was leading Trump.

…In a presidential campaign notable for its negativity, the option of “Neither” candidate appears to be an appealing alternative, at least to participants in the Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.
Many voters on both sides have been ambivalent in their support for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump, complicating the task of the pollsters trying to track the race.
That sentiment may help explain an apparent skew that recently emerged in the Reuters/Ipsos poll results. Given the choice, a relatively large group of voters opted for “Neither/Other” candidate compared with other major polls, leading to an under reporting of several percentage points for one or other of the two major contenders at times in the race.
As a result, Reuters/Ipsos is amending the wording of the choice and eliminating the word “Neither,” bringing the option in line with other polls….

So independents just got tossed into the Hillary bucket…. I am sure the Bernie supporters would love to know that.

…More recently, the “Neither/Other” option appeared to lead to an under reporting of Clinton’s support in the run-up to the Democratic convention, said Cliff Young, pollster and president of Ipsos Public Affairs, which partners with Reuters on the poll. The pollsters estimated the Clinton shortfall at 2 to 4 percentage points.

Tom W. Smith, director of the Center for the Study of Politics and Society at the University of Chicago, said the earlier Trump numbers in the Reuters/Ipsos poll could have indicated a softness of support for Trump among a relatively small group of conservative voters who had yet to come to terms with his candidacy.
It is plausible that a similar effect among Democratic voters may be hitting Clinton now when presented with the option of “Neither,” he said.

While early polls would show less support for Trump BEFORE THE CONVENTION, the exit of bernie voters from the democratic party is happening AFTER Wikileaks showed the corruption in the DNC.

Since the convention, however, Trump’s support seems to have solidified among wary supporters. Now, the “Neither” issue appears to be affecting Clinton in the survey

So it was OK if Trump’s numbers were too low…

Even a democrat thinks the DemonRats have jumped the shark this time.

    • Gail Combs says:

To go with the comment in moderation. Why is the media publishing inaccurate polls showing Hillary in the lead?

Because you can’t steal the election with out ‘evidence’ prior to the steal that the race was close or Hillary was in the lead. You can only flip around 3 % of the vote. If polling shows Trump with a 10% lead now one is going to buy Hillary winning.

Unfortunately it is MUCH easier than I originally thought!

    • Gail Combs says:

So where are the votes counted?

by Geoffrey Grider April 26, 2012

2012 US Presidential election votes will be counted in Spain. Electronic voting machines, used in US elections, have repeatedly been shown by experts to be prone to fraud.

“When the Spanish online voting company SCYTL bought the largest vote processing corporation in the United States, it also acquired the means of manufacturing the outcome of the 2012 election. For SOE, the Tampa based corporation purchased by SCYTL in January, supplies the election software which records, counts, and reports the votes of Americans in 26 states 900 total jurisdictions across the nation.” The fact that the same company will have first count on all votes made in 14 US states and hundreds of jurisdictions in 12 others, and the stage is set for election….. SCYTL self-proclaimed the security of its systems, but when the machines were used in the District of Columbia, the University of Michigan fight song “The Victors” was suddenly heard after the casting of each ballot. The system had been hacked by U of M computer teachers and students, in order to demonstrate their susceptibilities.

Over the past decade, reports from MIT, Caltech, and Carnegie-Melon have repeatedly documented that voting machines, used in the US, are susceptible to ….

  5. Why is Trump is wasting his energy attacking people who are not running for office?

Hillary Clinton presents a “Target Rich Environment” yet Trump has not mounted a serious attack.

We need some surprises before October. I have plenty of popcorn but Donald has not created the spectacle I was expecting. In the meantime I plan to check out Dinesh D’Sousa’s movie rather than waste all that popcorn.

    • Gail Combs says:

Timing is everything. Also Trump RETURNS attacks. He does not initiate at least at this time.

  6. In a recent speech Obama stated that Donald Trump keeps demonstrating that he is “unfit for office”.

What magnificent chutzpah from the only president since WWII who makes Jimmy Carter look good. Given that the folks here are into data and graphs you will surely like this:

And of course our trade imbalance is horrible.

      • cdquarles says:

        Gail, please think about this.

The US dollar is, for now, the reserve currency for international trade. Yes, gold would be better, in some respects. How is the rest of the world going to get US dollars for use in trade if we don’t export them?

China, if you do take our place in being said reserve currency, you’ll find yourself in the same spot *and* due to your selective child killing policies, have a worse demographic problem than we do.

  7. Frank K. says:

It is kinda funny – he has media people swearing at him live on CNN! Heh!!

Yeah, the news cycle these days is pretty fluid – this weeks GOP “implosion” will be next weeks “Democrat” implosion. BTW, did any hear that the DNC fired a bunch of directors and leaders over the e-mail debacle??? I know – not if you read or watch the DNC-approved media. Then there is Bloomberg coming out in support of Hillary – so guess what stories are appearing on his media outlets?? One could go on and on and on. As I mentioned above, it wouldn’t matter if the GOP nominated the most peaceful, nice, thoughtful, smart person of all time. By November, he or she would be brutally savaged and deemed unfit for office by the MSM.

  8. Edward. says:

I hear that, the Clinton klan are outspending Donald Trump’s team by a ratio of some $15 to $1, it’s a media blizzard of lies and ‘misspeaks’. However, sufficed to say, Mr. Trump will keep his powder dry for the moment, as has been said above, there are, three long months to go and August is holiday time or the silly season and really no one much cares yet unless you’re a media/TV hackette/hack.

Clinton’s campaign will die a death, it’s all hype and Utopian illusion anyway, what Mr. Trump must focus on and he will, is, Clinton’s utter dearth of personality and not least her total inability to recognize let alone practise, probity. Clinton, all her life she’s been an inveterate liar and most probably with ‘Slick’ both of them, should have been prosecuted long ago had it not been for some spectacular manoeuvrings behind the scenes, if you know what I mean.
Clinton, is vulnerable, regardless no one loves her and she cannot, will never repair her tarnished, now gone subterranean reputation.

Verily are, the American people not fools. One has to ponder on, why the US liberal media claque are quite incapable of ceasing to patronizing the nation. Scarcely credible condescension, arrogant reportage, aye! but lying through their teeth does not engender submission indeed, it has precisely the opposite effect, evidently being told what to do and how to vote – doesn’t work.
“Told how to vote!” One only has to cross the pond to see that, to observe the UK and the EU referendum campaign, where the UK public was and by every international institution add in all government departments, mainstream media et al. They harangued, bashed, did browbeat, lied and lied some more. The British public were, threatened with economic calamity, famine, disaster, WWIII and the death of the first born and still, voted in their millions, averring NO to extended membership corporate serfdom and as, a satrapy of Eurabia aka the Brussels Empire.

Mr. Trump, is just maintaining a softening up exercise, when he is nice and ready he will focus and bring the big guns to bear, Clinton’s forces are ephemeral and floater voters, Mr. Trump will remind her, that, like Baltimore – a shore based battery is so effective in blowing her fleet to the four winds.

Tony, you are right on re the purpose of these push polls. Wouldn’t it be great if we actually had investigative reporters and real media corporations rather than these (globalist) corporate propaganda outlets. Thanks for all your courageous investigative reporting and to your followers and commenters who offer some of the most intelligent additions to your research.

I have referred readers of here many times to understand more about some of the trillions of $ at stake in this election. Now let me refer your readers to that incredibly astute blog:

There are many, many more posts and political predictions from early on showing the same corruption and criminal activity that Tony shows here. More power to the investigative reporters. Thank you, Tony.

Using Microsoft edge I get so sick of MSNBC headline links they put up. I was 13-14 y/o when I first stated questioning the veracity and intent of the media. Walter Cronkite reporting in the Tet offensive in is the first memory I have of questioning the media. By the time I was 25-26 and an SF soldier I had enough 2nd hand and 1st hand experience to know that members of the media, including even “reporters” for the local newspaper, are to be considered part of the enemy 5th column until proven otherwise.

Now days when it comes to the old media it’s even worse because ownership of the majority of the media is held by relatively so few corporations.

By the time I was 20 I had enough first hand knowledge to know the MSM not only LIED but the lies were carefully crafted propaganda. I quit watching the Boob Tube shortly after that. Now I am over forty years boob tube free.

      • RAH says:

I watch it, but hardly any “news”. Lots of programs I like about natural history, science, and history. Gotta watch out for the propaganda in them at times and if they get too overboard with their climate change stuff I’m done with them. But I really enjoy what I watch. It’s a bed time thing for me. About the only thing that isn’t documentary in nature that I watch is an occasional race, Top Gear, and NCIS.

      • Frank K. says:

We recently “downsized” our cable service. With streaming, there is little reason to pay for 500 channels with nearly zero interesting content. Traditional cable channels will soon be a thing of the past, since all new TVs are design to take advantage of streaming services. Bye bye CNN, MSNBC, MTV, …

        • Gail Combs says:

One America News Network (OANN) is supposed to be pretty unbiased.

…One America News Network, on the other hand, has a two-tier mission: providing opinion-free straight news reporting and right-leaning talk shows.

“It is getting really hard to find just the reliable, credible, fact-based news with substance,” said Charles Herring, president of Herring Broadcasting, in an interview from CPAC, where he was setting up for the announcement. “The second component is to provide a platform where more voices can be heard, voices that are ignored, libertarian and conservative voices.”….

You can get on with Roku

I know nothing about either except they are recommended by those flipping the bird at regular TV.
