Dad brings lunch for the wife and kids.
Now things get really interesting. The 2nd egg hatched and the first eyas is bound to be bigger and stronger than it’s younger sibling. Generally from what I have seen of the Red Tails that have nested in my big Chinese Elm two eyas are likely to survive, but when there are three, the weakest will be pushed out of the nest. Let’s hope Mom & Dad can keep them both sated because if they can’t, we may well see a form of natural selection in occur.
Very cool Cooper’s shots! Hope all the chicks make it.
