NOAA : Adjusting Away Dead People

Summers used to be very hot in the US, with high death counts.

In 1936, the Midwest warmed up in mid-February and stayed hot through August.

The average afternoon temperature at Appleton City, Missouri was 95 degrees from May through August, and topped out at 115 degrees.

There were 59 days over 100 degrees that summer, similar to the summers of 1913, 1934, 1954 and 1980.  Hot summers like that don’t occur any more.

Properly done science uses data to create theories, but in climate science the reverse process is used.  Climate scientists create fake data sets to match their fake theories. By tampering with data and cooling the past, NOAA simply adjusts away all those people who died in the heat.

Are USHCN adjustments the same as GISS’s? Below is a graph of GISS’s adjustments at Banff, AB

    • tonyheller says:

USHCN adjustments are somewhat defined, But the term “GISS adjustments” is political gibberish. They manipulate the data through many techniques.

      • JCalvertN(UK) says:

Including such techniques as ‘artistic licence’ and straight-out fabrication by the looks of this.
Note that these GISS adjustments (or manipulations if you prefer) have only been done in the last couple of years.

Alarmists only care about modeled dead people, just as they only care about modeled climates. Real people and real climates mean nothing to them.

    • Squidly says:

They also only care about illegal live people and apparently don’t care when those illegal live people make more dead people.

You two are so rude! “Illegals are not criminals,” Kamala Harris wrote on Twitter.

          • Jason Calley says:

            “Illegals are not criminals,”

Of course they aren’t! It is just a simple of matter of breaking the law without breaking the law. See ow simple it is? :)

        Cut it out, guys.

The Guardians of the Earth care about all live people and they care about them way more than dead people. They think about live people all the time and they worry about their future well-being. They calculated that currently there are too many of them in the Lebensraum and for their own good we must manage their numbers scientifically.

But they are not against live people per se. That’s a libel. They just want the Earth to be populated by the right number of the right people.

      • Colorado Wellington says:

But don’t get the wrong idea that they only consider mechanical or chemical solutions.

They also support simple organic contraceptive methods that are 100% effective and can solve the overpopulation problem in a single generation.

You mean ugly women who are ‘woke’ to their feminism? I agree … that’s a major chub killer indeed.

What inspires me to propagate our species is something along these lines:

          • Disillusioned says:

Surely the contrast between the subjects in CW’s and AZ’s visual aids indicates there must be more than two genders.

          • Colorado Wellington says:

I had the same thought but there may be other possibilities.

We must commission a study by some erudite zoologist to determine if the above specimens are of different genders or an entirely different species.

We have renowned zoology experts on this forum who can do it. We know that Ms Griff repeatedly shamed even Dr. Susan Crockford with her scientific expertise.

I hope she accepts this taxonomical challenge.

Why would recent data have a strong cooling bias if there is the UHI effect? Aren’t the same thermometers being used in the past few years?

Since you have no place to send tips about relevant stories, I’ll post this here. Remember this “Expedition”?

Well, a day after it started, the ship ran aground. All of the passengers have been transferred to its sister ship. I guess their work will be cut short. Interestingly, there’s no mention of it on the project page and the grounding happened on Friday.

Hopefully winter weather can warm the Hudson bay before it starts freezing over. CO2 has not been capable.

1936 had the same heliocentric Jovian configuration of Saturn opposite Neptune square to Jupiter, as the major heatwaves in Europe of 1252, 1361, 1540, 1578, 1757, 1828, and 2006.
    Screen shot of 1936:

    Jupiter opposite Neptune = cold.
    Jupiter square Neptune = hot.
    Saturn opposite Neptune = hot.
    Saturn square Neptune = cold.
    Jupiter opposite Uranus = hot.
    Jupiter square Uranus = cold.
    Saturn opposite Uranus = cold.
    Saturn square Uranus = hot.
    Uranus opposite Neptune = hot.

    Saturn opposite Jupiter = cold.
