Fifty Years Ago Today

Fifty years ago, everybody understood that the 1930s and 1940s were warm.

“Droughts, floods, blizzards, tornadoes, typhoons and hurricanes have plagued much of the nation and the world in recent years. Most people considered these weather conditions to be abnormal and temporary, but instead, climatologists now believe that the first half of the Twentieth Century was blessed with unusually mild weather and that the global climate has begun returning to a harsher — but more normal — state.”

50 years ago noone paid money to experts to not know that the 30ies were warm.

Is a change of 0.3 or 0.5 degrees Celsius, over a 30 or 40 year period, followed by a return to what was considered “normal” 60 or 70 years prior, (as shown in the graph) actually, “climate change”?
Using the Koppen-Geiger Climate Classification System, weather data over 30 years is required to identify a climate zone or sub-zone.

If this small change over a short period of time, is “climate change”, why then aren’t the changes in temperature of up to 4C over centuries, between the Minoan Warm Period, Iron Age Cold, Roman Warm, Dark Ages Cold, Medieval Warm and the Little Ice Age, regarded as “climate change”?
The current climate hysteria is over a rise of ‘possibly’, 1 to 1.5C, above some assumed, “pre-industrial level”.

Meteorologist Joe Bastardi reminds us to also factor in 30-year warm cold warm ocean oscillations. you never hear the climate Mafia mention that
